Wednesday 25 Sept called for viewing appointment, this really couldn't happen any sooner than Monday 30 Sept. Not a problem in itself because I was told the house was available! meaning: so no verbal or written agreements with third parties.. Suddenly I was called on Saturday the 28th of September by Bauke that the house we wanted to view had been sold???!! After asking Bauke a few questions, it turned out that a viewing had been scheduled in between (who also had submitted a bid). All this while we absolutely couldn't have gone until Monday the 30th?! The house was 'available', the real estate agent told me. I got the strong impression that my questions were not appreciated.. the only thing I heard was, what do you want to hear from me?, and what do you want me to say? Following an inspection, we were forced to pray (buyer unfriendly), during the inspection it was indicated that the price not only counts but also other points, ultimately we were told that the bid would not be accepted, those other points therefore do not apply and we were wrongly informed. Also, the selling price was not mentioned, hence why we did make the highest offer. Not recommended to do business with.
