I can say that they are the worst rental company I have ever met. Initially, I wrote a two-line review, not detailed, with one star, and they published my full name because they had blackmailed me for having removed it. Therefore, I wrote this new one, more detailed, so you know how they operate (see also attached screenshots). Bad houses, bad service and fraud. We got the house at geraniumstraat 35 (where the old clinic of Mr. Bristra, the owner of the company, was), and the conditions were disgusting. Still smells like a pedicure, impossible to remove the smell. Mold everywhere, in some places the roof collapsed... It was a house 123 years old, without insulation, because they say a maximum of 6 months (legally, if the contract is that short, you virtually have no consumer rights in NL). It took two and a half months for them to return my deposit, and they scammed us out of euros of it after we left to 'clean' things that were much cleaner than how we received them. They also claimed money from us because a supposedly lost old cheap simple key was not from the house. Stay away. Make sure these kinds of scammers don’t get money by exploiting the housing situation they have created in Eindhoven.

Dwaas genoeg vertrouwden we ze zonder dit op schrift te krijgen – een grote fout. Toen wij de sleutels ontvingen was er nog niets aan de mal gedaan. Na meerdere klachten hebben ze sommige gebieden oppervlakkig schoongemaakt en vervolgens weggeveegd, waarbij ze beweerden dat schimmel en vochtigheid “normaal waren voor de Nederlandse woningbouw”. Ze weigerden zelfs de gordijnen te wassen die vol zaten met schimmel. Hun tweede tactiek? Onterechte stortingsinhoudingen. Toen wij er kwamen wonen was het huis in slechte staat, maar toen wij verhuisden, werden er heel andere normen gehanteerd. Ondanks dat ze het huis schoner achterlieten dan we het aantroffen, pikten ze kleine problemen op en hielden ze aftrek voor triviale zaken. Ze gaven zelfs toe dat ze bij verhuizing andere normen voor netheid hanteerden dan bij verhuizing. Houd hier rekening mee voor het geval u bij hen tekent. Het lijkt erop dat het hun doel is om redenen te verzinnen om geld van uw storting in te houden. Ik zag dit ook in veel andere recensies. Het gedrag van Brick Vastgoed is onethisch, onprofessioneel en zeer frustrerend. Bespaar uzelf de stress en kies een beter, betrouwbaarder bureau. Dit was de slechtste huurervaring die ik ooit heb gehad. Beware of Pieter. He provides false information to sell/buy real estate at cost price. He has an alternative commission strategy (1% commission + 10% commission above the asking price), which makes his approach questionable to get more commission. Beware, Pieter can talk nicely and you are not allowed to discuss with anyone how he works. If he has secured the sales order and your house is sold, he won't recognize you anymore and you will receive no response to emails. He operates as follows; he asks for a fixed amount for the sale (this is lower than the competition), then he gives an upper and lower limit of the selling price and everything he gets more than the lower limit, he receives 10% extra from. Clever because he knows what he can really get and that's why the lower limit is low to scoop up 10% extra. In short: Pieter is a real salesman with truckers where he earns a lot of money.
