After a long search, we found a lovely house! The staff are very direct and can sometimes come across as blunt. But they really do their best for you when they notice you're seriously looking! If I encounter any staff members, we always still have a nice chat :D

If I could, I would give -1 star. They don't respond to emails, don't call, don't show up for appointments, and the girl who showed us the house said things we already knew, or just things that weren't true about the property. We wanted to go directly to their office, but it was closed on Friday. I have no words for this realtor, just don't do business with them!! It’s a waste of time.

Don't fall for this trap - these are criminals who won't pay back your deposit after the end of a contract and ignore all reminders and attempts to contact them. They also largely didn't respond when we rented an apartment from them. Avoid this!

Ze hebben me geholpen bij het vinden van 3 huurwoningen in Leiden. Ze blijven zaken doen met verhuurders die de borg niet terugbetalen, vooral aan expats. Voordat ik huurde, beloofden ze me de borg terug te betalen en in te grijpen indien nodig, maar ze negeerden die belofte later toen ik om hulp vroeg. Daarmee dragen ze bewust bij aan het chronische probleem van hebzuchtige verhuurders in Nederland.

Had a lovely viewing, where we were told that we were the only candidates for the apartment. We were completely naive and happy, especially when we were called to say that we had also been chosen! Subsequently, we received a phone call saying that we weren't selected after all. We did find it remarkable and just to be sure, we called back, after which we were rudely told that it really had been rented out to someone else. A month later, we happened to walk past the apartment in question, where another 'for rent' sign was hanging up again. Quite remarkable.

**** UPDATE: For all (former) tenants, there is most likely incorrectly the monthly service costs cashed via easymakelaars. If you contact huurdokters.nl they will arrange that you get a large part back. Easy makelaars will not return this themselves. **** Myself a tenant for several years. This is the perfect example of a real estate agent who only thinks about filling his own pockets and nothing at all about the well-being of the tenants. Promises are not kept and there is no transparency. For the reader who wants to consider renting here, do not unless: -You don't mind that no maintenance will ever be performed on the property. -You want to incorrectly pay up to 80% too much in service costs, which will again never be settled with you. -You like not being taken seriously by the real estate agent who rents the house to you. -You are at peace with the fact that when there are defects and this is reported nothing but absolutely nothing will be done by the landlord. -You also don't mind that the landlord will not keep any agreements made. If you have no problem with this, I would definitely do it!!

The previous reviews didn't predict much good either. My experience is that Easy Makelaars is unreachable: not via email, not via Pararius, and not by phone. If you respond via Pararius, you immediately receive a standard email with an invitation for a viewing. But if you have any questions about that: no response. It's a shame that many properties are available for rent through Easy. I'm skipping Easy.

Unfortunately no positive experience. Luckily found a house, but not through Easy Makelaars. I had a pleasant viewing at the time. Subsequently all (personal) documentation was sent and nothing more was heard from them. Not even after I emailed again. Only weeks later a pathetic standard rejection. It is a difficult housing market for both buyers and renters, but as a real estate agent you can ensure that an experience is still pleasant, even if you don't get the house. That was not the case here. A pity.

Very bad experience. We wanted to rent an apartment and had a friendly opening and viewing. After that, things quickly went wrong. Never heard anything or received a response to emails. Had to call 6 times ourselves to find out if the apartment was rented and always got the same answer 'we don't know you will hear today or tomorrow'. This lasted for 2 weeks. Called again today and suddenly the apartment was rented. Extremely unprofessional, unfriendly and unkind. Definitely not worth searching through them.

I had a fantastic experience with Easy Brokers. I had trouble finding a house for a few months and only got negative reactions to the viewings I attended. I asked Easy Brokers for help and they were the only real estate agents who took my case seriously. Carlo was so helpful and did his best to find the best solution. A few days after our appointment, I finally found the studio that was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend them.

Easy real estate agents = you become broke quickly. The only 'easy' thing about this office is how easily they find excuses to take your money. If you decide to rent a house through them, make sure you take photos of the smallest flaws and details of the apartment as soon as you move in, because they make you pay a lot for the smallest things, even if they were already there.

What terrible customer service you offer. You should be ashamed of yourselves. My friend called to inquire about a rental property in which we were very interested. During the phone call, my friend indicated that we had attended multiple viewings. At this point, the fake jerk on the other end of the line pointed out to us that you 'don't have it to choose from' at this time and that we should be happy if we could rent anywhere. The reason we are viewing multiple houses is because it is indeed difficult to get a house. We like to register for multiple options, because the chance of getting a property is very low. Thanks to this employee, we were never allowed to view the house or be considered for it. This is simply the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. The only reason you are even in business is because there is so ridiculously high demand for houses. As soon as that decreases, you will have to rely on your customer service and then I hope you go bankrupt very quickly. Outright scandalous.

We found an apartment within two days from the US via this agency through video chats, emails and SMS, with the help of our realtor Carlo. Initially a friendly service. I and a fellow student rented an apartment on the first floor in a house. The real estate agent himself chose unreliable tenants, refused to take responsibility for the living expenses (gas/water/electricity/wifi), so we as tenants had to resolve this among ourselves. When the tenants of the ground floor left for the sunny south, they left me and my roommate with 300 euros in unpaid living expenses, plus there was an additional charge from the gas company of 2000 euros. The real estate agent said he would contact the landlord, but never did. We also sometimes went two weeks without hot water and every repair was carried out reluctantly. Finally, an amount was also withheld from the deposit because 'something had happened to the floors', which is genuinely ridiculous because the floors weren't even clean when we moved in (not to mention that the 'renovators' were smoking heavily in the apartment and everything smelled of tobacco upon moving in). Avoid like the plague, especially when you are a student. UPD: No, great, this response. Perhaps the landlord is the client, which I certainly want to accept. It does mean that EasyMakelaars is still the party that fails to properly execute the assignment when they attract tenants of whom it is already quite clear beforehand that they are not reliable (I even had the immigration police at the door because one of the men was allegedly illegal and I reported this to you). Furthermore, as a real estate agent, you should also be there for the tenant and if necessary drag the owner out from under the ground when such abuses occur.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a small house through various websites for months, but nothing seemed to happen. We decided to visit Easy real estate agents and within a week an apartment was arranged. Good service and friendly employees.

I had made an appointment for a viewing. Ten minutes after the agreed time, there was still no one. I called the 06 number of the employee I had arranged with, but he was unreachable. Easymakelaars said they would try to contact him. I waited another hour and a half in The Hague, but they didn't contact me again, not even for an explanation or apology. A bit unfortunate, a waste of my time.

They are making it anything but easy. We've already had 4 incidents. The first time, I had a viewing at a house at 4:00 PM, but there was no real estate agent there at 4:00 PM. I called and eventually someone showed up. A week later, somewhere else, a viewing. I have to come from Limburg and had just been in the car for 3 hours and had just passed Rotterdam when I was called with the message that they had forgotten to inform the owner and therefore the viewing could not take place. At the next viewing at the same property, I had informed them well in advance that due to unforeseen traffic congestion I would probably be 15-20 minutes late, and that was no problem, I was told. When I finally arrived at the property, the real estate agent was already preparing to leave. He ultimately rushed through it with me in 5 minutes, but initially he wanted to leave it to the current residents. And then the fourth incident. I had made an offer regarding a house several weeks ago. Also called multiple times, but they just couldn't reach the owner. Today I was called again and told that it had already been rented. 'Yes sorry due to the rush that wasn’t reported'. It is simply sad and frankly disrespectful.

Een kamer vinden in Leiden leek gewoonweg onmogelijk. Ik had al van alles geprobeerd, maar zonder succes. Mijn nichtje is net toegelaten tot de universiteit in Leiden en hoewel dat fantastisch nieuws was, bleek verhuizen naar Leiden en een kamer of appartement huren onmogelijk en een ware nachtmerrie te worden. Maar – met Carlo en zijn team is alles mogelijk! Ze heeft meer gekregen dan ze ooit had durven dromen. Dankjewel Carlo, jij bent de juiste persoon om op te vertrouwen als je een plek zoekt om te wonen.

Easy Makelaars helped us find a rental property in Leiden when there were few available. We were impressed by their service and especially Outman, who helped us to the utmost in solving problems.
