The agent never showed us the house, but told us we had to go look ourselves. And he just keeps standing helplessly in the living room. This happened with three different agents, so it seems like their company culture. 2. For buyers: of all the houses I've viewed, those with the most defects were sold by these men. So if you see them as a selling agent, run away. 3. They think that buyers, because it's now a sellers' market, have to buy with their eyes closed. So for 75% of the questions they never give you a clear answer. 4. Usually, when you ask questions, they say the house is being sold by their colleague and that I'm alone, so I don't know. I have never encountered such a bad realtor!! Not even worthy of one star! Poor service!! Dirty and poorly insulated house!! Badly finished. False promises about renovating the house, which never happened and is only now being addressed because we are moving out. When there were problems, they weren't listened to. Only when a problem became too severe (leakage) was action taken. We had to sleep with my partner and newborn baby on a mattress in the living room for 6 months because of mice upstairs, and no window could be opened due to safety concerns. (sliding doors without protection gates etc.). And still we weren't understood or helped; I am furious! I didn't want to leave a bad review at first, but sleeping on the floor with your baby for 6 months makes you think differently! Edwin de Boer, please think carefully about what you do to a family. Before you rent out another dilapidated house with false promises, who simply pay the rent every month.

Besides the enormously positive experiences with this realtor who sold our house in no time, we also had a very good experience with the advisor. Obtaining a mortgage went quite wrong with our old advisor, which caused us to lose 2 months of time. We gave advisor John van der Meer an almost impossible task to start completely anew within far too short a time. I put quite a lot of pressure on this, John remained friendly and ultimately it succeeded within the timeframe. If we had come into contact with John earlier, we would have had much less stress.

Buying a house is not an everyday occurrence. It's exciting and there’s a whole lot more involved than you initially thought. We were helped very well from start to finish. Erik was involved in viewing the houses, and when we needed immediate assistance because we had to act quickly, he was at our door within five minutes. John Vermeer also patiently and extremely kindly assisted us throughout the entire process. Every question we had, we could ask, and he was never unwilling to make time for us. The explanation of the different options was clear, and thanks to his advice, we were able to make a well-considered choice. We don't regret walking in at the active real estate agent, and from the first moment we felt welcome and allowed to ask questions.
