I recently viewed a house for sale with Huister Makelaar and decided to leave a review right away. The way Angenita deals with potential buyers like us is commendable. I was late due to a delayed train and she was so kind as to reschedule the appointment on the same day, but later. We all know how difficult it is to even secure a viewing slot. When we arrived at the house, she helped me and explained all the details of the house to me, which is very unusual these days.

But today I received an email saying that the house has already been sold because there was an offer they couldn’t refuse. I don't think that's very classy. Not so with Angenita; she is personal, always reachable, very communicative, no question is too much, and knows how to convey your home with the right feeling. Prior to an introductory meeting, she has already delved into the house and researched all kinds of background information. In conversation, she delves further into the house so that she can answer all questions from interested parties. She is visibly involved in both us as sellers but also in the buyer. She takes plenty of time with the viewings and makes it possible for a potentially interested buyer to feel at home (how many viewings we have had where we were literally rushed through the house by an agent because time is money). She remains personally involved throughout the entire process and connects parties to each other. Ultimately, for many people, buying and selling a house is an emotional process, and she helps with that. We have now found and moved into a new home, and Angenita sold our old house for a beautiful price. Should we ever consider selling again, we don't need to look for another real estate agent but know exactly who we will engage. Just one more thing: I saw a review where someone described her as 'worthless'.
