My wife and I had a viewing planned. We were there at the agreed time, but no real estate agent to be seen. Then we are called fifteen minutes later asking where we were, or if we were perhaps standing in front of the wrong property. I had indicated that I was there on time, but that after calling twice, it still wasn't opened and that we just went home. “Were we at the wrong property?” If you’re at the only house on the street with a “For Sale” sign from this real estate agent, I don’t think so. The real estate agent stated that he had seen us driving by, but we didn't see anyone. I indicated that because of all this, I wanted to cancel the viewing, but what really sealed the deal was the subsequent comment that “the interest wouldn’t be there” either. If you as a real estate agent want to sell the property, make sure you are on time and if that doesn't work out, let us know in good time. We also had an appointment half a year ago with one of the employees about the proposed possible sale of our house. We had a good conversation then and he was supposed to let us know about the further course of action the following Tuesday. Unfortunately, he forgot to mention which Tuesday that would be, because meanwhile 8 months later it is still deafeningly quiet on that front.

I initially understood that it would be a good real estate agent, but I was very disappointed with that as well. The communication with the person from the agency and towards us was very poor. Only a day after viewers had been present were you called, or late in the evening while you were leaving so that they could look around; then you wait for that one phone call or message that never comes. It's only because I have a camera installed that I could follow everything externally. Or I would only receive an answer if I contacted them myself, and then it was 'oh, completely forgotten' or they wanted to call just like that. Ultimately, I kept my house because I could, but if I had a buyer, it certainly would have been sold, and we would have bought something new. But even the closing was disappointing. I would not recommend this real estate agent to anyone.

The agent in question had linked incorrect floor plans to a property (on which we based our offer). Later corrected but very sloppy. The agent who showed the house barely knew anything about the property, not a good reflection of the real estate profession.

They didn't keep their appointment, nothing more heard from Jeffrey.

We are really happy that we went into business with Kam & Brunotte. We spoke to three brokers and had a click with Zeke right away, super enthusiastic. He was the one who said... 'we let everyone come who is interested' and so two days were also additionally booked. Alternately, employees from the office guided the people to prevent them from slacking off. We weren't home during the viewings but everything was left neatly behind.. compliments to the entire team!!

This is the third house that this realtor has sold for me. With all the houses, I received excellent advice and the houses were sold quickly. I was kept informed of all viewings, the feedback from the viewings was almost all on the same day. Very special in these hectic times. We sold our house through this agency and purchased another one. There has been virtually no personal contact with our real estate agent. All communication was via WhatsApp, including the purchase negotiations. I indicated that I didn't find this pleasant. This was dismissed. On the day of transfer, we didn't see or speak to our purchasing broker. No email received. Nothing. As a purchasing broker, worthless. Had a replacement broker for a short time, Danny Kam, immediately a different experience. Immediate personal contact. So it really depended on the person. Also as a selling broker, I did not have a positive experience here either. Again, everything was via WhatsApp. On the day of transfer, another broker suddenly appeared. They also forgot to send us the transfer report.

Last week I walked in for more information about the outdoor court. The lady behind the counter referred me to the website. After which I told her that I had thoroughly read the website but was now looking for some more detailed information. I noticed that we didn't reach an informed situation. Perhaps the possibility was that I was still covered in mud from the golf round and walking the dog. But the opportunity arose to just walk in like this. Unfortunately for me, I did not receive the desired information and now opted for another form. Personally, I found the service of my purchasing agent, Kam & Bronotte, disappointing. For example, the agent I was connected to (Jeffrey) regularly did not join me for viewings (or was replaced by someone else). Jeffrey was almost always busy with others. Perhaps he didn't want to deal with me (low price category)? Did he perhaps dare not say that and therefore kept putting it off? For the viewing of the house I eventually bought, I went alone the first time. On the second visit an assistant came along. It's a nice house, but afterwards you realize that the agent did not look properly at a number of essential matters. Take for example the water heater (poor maintenance) and electricity (no residual current device). There are still a number of smaller things, on which I had hoped the agent would have pointed out to me and which I thought the agent would bring his expertise. Also, with this agent you have to go behind the papers yourself. You assume that the necessary information about a house is neatly provided before you make your offer. Well, that was not the case. I had to ask for many missing documents.... You certainly already guess it: at the handover there was again someone else from Kam & Bronotte, and also there the agent had no involvement, so that person might as well have stayed away. Afterwards I think that I could just as well have done it myself, which would have saved me the commission!

We moved into our new-build home more than a year ago thanks to the help of Danny!
