After a somewhat slow start due to the departure of “my” purchase/sale broker, they handled his departure from Almere well. I can wholeheartedly recommend all brokers, and in particular Leonoor, who were involved in the sale of my house. The ladies at reception are also very empathetic.

For over 7 months we've been trying to get in touch regarding a fault. They respond nowhere. Damage incurred, no response either. You have to solve everything yourself with all the costs that entails. We don't even report new faults anymore. If you contact them by phone, you are supposedly called back, which doesn’t happen. Ridiculous. And that is then an intermediary for the owner. I wouldn't trust my property to them.

Terrible. You state that your window was broken due to vandalism. You call almost daily and are passed from pillar to post. “We will call you back today”, “I’m making a callback request for the person who handles this”, “we are waiting for a quote”, “the person who handles this is not available today”. Subsequently, after 5(!!) weeks, you hear that they won't reimburse it and that in the rental agreement it states that you must take out your own glass insurance. However, that is not possible, because our insurer indicates that this is not possible for a rented property, as the landlord is responsible. In other words: awful. They install cheap items in the property and when you leave the property you even have to pay for a new mirror because the back has peeled off (due to the poor quality). And there are many more points like that.

Thanks to market knowledge and the broker's commitment, the property was sold quickly. The communication regarding viewings and bids went well. The communication between signing the preliminary purchase agreement and the transfer could have been a little better. For example, it was difficult for me as the seller to find out what defect had been discovered during the technical inspection, and there was also no communication with the buyers that the problem had since been resolved. Unfortunately, the real estate agent assesses whether a potential buyer is creditworthy or not in advance, and as a result, we missed out on a nice house. The feeling arises that we are just a number and not a serious buyer. A pity. We already experienced the same 18 years ago with Vanderlinden in Almere.

Terrible company

Assistance with purchase through this broker engaged. Unfortunately, our house had quite a few hidden defects. Things that a broker should have seen and why we wanted a buyer's agent. We had to call ourselves after emailing this information to find out what to do. No phone calls or follow-up care, or reaction to our findings, unfortunately. They just reassured us, and since this broker sold the seller’s new home to him, we understand that it was primarily in their interest for it to be sold quickly. Our trust has been seriously violated!

Better than great simply doesn't exist

Excellent real estate agent. We sold our house last year with the help of van der Linden. Initially, communication was a little bumpy at times, especially because our case (and story) was handled by multiple agents. It sometimes felt like we were falling between two stools.
