This is the second time that Amsterdam and van Mierlo got a property for sale for us. The first was 13 years ago, our company building. Meeuwis Real Estate proposes a viewing to have a client of his show us the house. I give him two times for the viewing. I receive no response from that, so I call him a day before the relevant day to remind him. He had forgotten. Can happen. I propose the two times again with the notification to respond. Again, no reaction. This realtor must protect the interests of a potential home buyer, but handles it like this. Today I meet a neighbor who also has his house for sale. Also deals with a buyer's agent, which turns out to be the same one, namely Meeuwis. He visited the neighbor’s house, but didn’t have the decency to give feedback.

By this message, I want to let you know that this company works very unprofessionally with both clients and colleagues. As soon as this worthless broker goes to view a house with a client from his side, via another broker, he will heavily criticize that house because it is not in his portfolio and he cannot earn anything from it. I have heard this from several candidates so far, who will also open their mouths about how this broker treats candidates, very sad and very unprofessional. He also stops communicating completely with the broker where the house is for sale, as well as with people who showed interest in our house. This also happened recently with a neighbor of mine who experienced the same rude attitude. People come along, make them wait, and don't show up, yes, that house was not in his portfolio either, very sad. Then the client calls this broker and the answer was completely forgotten. Will contact the buyer and let you know, and what do you think? Exactly, he also heard nothing from this great broker then. Will remain neat, scandalous and rude. So buyers and sellers, you are now aware.

Tom Meeuwis guided the purchase process for us regarding the acquisition of an investment property in Tilburg. In this somewhat overheated market, he advised us perfectly. This resulted in the purchase of a healthy-yielding building. Besides the aforementioned purchase process, he also surprisingly personally helped us after the purchase with drafting the rental agreements. Meeuwis Makelaardij pleasantly surprised us in this regard and adjusted our (not very positive) view of a real estate agent. We now believe that in such times a good real estate agent is a must! This company is really terrible. I rented an apartment from them for six months and every week there was yet another problem. From electricity problems in the building, neighbors without heating, construction work starting from the day we moved in, no internet while we were paying for it, misleading advertising, costs that we had to pay while we had nothing to do with them (a few neighbors made a mess in the alley and they demanded that all tenants paid for the cleanup), mold on the walls of a brand new building, deposit that was only returned after more than two months while the apartment had been delivered in better than new condition, up to a landlord who was outright rude. I advise everyone considering renting from this company to do everything possible to look for another rental agency. They exploit the housing situation and push you out as much as they can. I am a disaster when it comes to housing in the Netherlands.

You tell them your budget, then they come up with much more expensive options and force you to go along by being aggressive and taking advantage of the housing crisis. They also complain that your budget is too low. As if I'm going to pay them a commission for what they do.
