In short, an unreliable broker with a questionable dual role who went completely for his own business and did not prioritize the interests of the buyer.

I've honestly never experienced anything this bad before. I'm looking for a garage near me, and De Ruiter is offering one at a reasonable price: a quick deal seems possible then. During the viewing, I only wanted one thing: to drive the car in briefly to see if my car fits. During the viewing, the real estate agent only had the key to the small door with him, so I couldn't get the car in. I arranged this through a neighbor afterwards. It was striking that the garage he showed me wasn’t the garage in the photo on the website. That’s already strange. But okay: I made an offer that was accepted. Then, when reviewing the purchase agreement, I see yet another garage number listed there. So the garage is neither the one on the site nor the one the real estate agent showed me. What exactly are you selling then? Sorry, but I can't take this seriously anymore. Apparently, many real estate agents have it so easy that they no longer put in any effort at all. You would expect a phone call from the owner afterwards with apologies and a request to resolve this together, but not even that. Very very bad!

On a whim, I walked into the office of DAM Vastgoed in August '24. There, I was received and assisted with utmost kindness by David. An appointment was quickly made. During the house visit, it soon became clear that I didn't need to look for another real estate agent. The connection and mutual trust were immediate. Shortly thereafter, the necessary steps were taken, such as hiring a stylist, a photographer, and applying for an energy label. My wildest expectations were exceeded when, three weeks after publication on Funda, the preliminary purchase agreement was signed. During my interim visits to the office, I was greeted with extreme friendliness by the receptionists. Today, three months after publication on Funda, the sale has passed at the notary's office. However, during the sales process, Willem did not fully live up to these expectations and, upon inquiry afterwards, could not or only partially remember them. Reachability is not always equally good. No 100% transparency in communication experienced. A pity for us, because the house was sold but an undesirable aftertaste remains due to a number of points in the actions of the real estate agent that we had discussed differently beforehand and would therefore also have liked to see and experience differently in execution.
