Choosing a real estate agent for the sale of what has been your home for 17 years is not easy. Do you choose a business-like agent who seems overrepresented in your neighborhood or a relatively new entrant to your neighborhood who feels immediately pleasant and personal at first impression? I did the latter by following my gut feeling and haven't regretted it for a single minute! Nick is a nice real estate agent who comes prepared and listens to your wishes. From day one, you notice that it’s not just a sales pitch. There was immediate openness and involvement from the start through a group app with Nick and the back office for important information exchange. When necessary, phone calls were also quickly made. And always reachable, as I experienced it. Therefore, I really recommend these agents because nothing but compliments for this team that says things well but above all does them well!

Had a nice first conversation with Mr. van de Wiel senior, and based on that, we decided to have der Wiel sell our house. But then it went from a good feeling to a very bad feeling; nothing was discussed anymore about bidding deadlines etc. We addressed this to der Wiel junior, and the only answer we constantly received was 'that's how we work, that's how we work.' From us, a resounding fail, and we will never do business with them again.

I sold my house through Van der Wiel Real Estate Agency. Last Friday they carried out the final inspection in my absence. Until today I have not heard anything about this. A simple message like: Everything went well - the buyers are at the notary - would have been sufficient. Unfortunately, it is characteristic of the entire process. There were regular viewings, but I never received feedback on how these had gone. When I decided to check in myself, I immediately got the suggestion thrown at me - 'My proposal is to drop the price'. There weren't many more ideas. Later around a bid, there was again little initiative. I decided to throw the ball up myself to make a counter offer. The subsequent reporting from Van der Wiel was very focused on selling the house as quickly as possible. Quickly collect the commission and move on - that’s how it seemed. On the front end, Van der Wiel seemed like a good choice to me, but afterwards this turned out to be disappointing. I would not recommend them.

After purchasing a home, there are still many loose ends open and this brokerage pushes everything onto the HOA. It's nice and easy to shift your responsibilities like that. No, I would not recommend doing business with this broker.

Unfortunately, I haven't had a good experience with the real estate agent. On January 29th, I had a viewing of the property at Willem Beukelszstraat 36. The real estate agent who showed us the property indicated that we were not allowed to ask questions during the viewing and that we should call or email for those. I emailed several times but received no response or the information I requested. When there was a reply, I was told to call, even though I repeatedly stated that I don't have a good command of the Dutch language. I would have preferred to receive answers to my questions by email. This doesn't seem professional and it remains unclear why my questions are not answered via email.
