Mijn eerste indruk van Frank Reede was positief; hij leek professioneel, maar toen het erop aankwam, bleek hij resoluut de kant van malafide verhuurders te kiezen. Natuurlijk doet hij dat – de huurders vertrekken, maar de verhuurders blijven in de stad. Hij verhuurde mijn appartement aan andere huurders terwijl ik nog steeds de wettelijke huurder was (hoewel ik er al uit was), terwijl hij wist dat ik nog steeds de huurder was en dat de verhuurder niet met mij had afgesproken om mijn huurcontract te vervroegen en mij te compenseren voor de periode dat ik er niet was. Ik ben vandaag de dag nog steeds de wettelijke huurder van dat appartement, met huur betaald tot het einde van deze maand, maar de huurders die Frank heeft gevonden, wonen er nog steeds. Ze reageren niet op advertenties van buitenlanders (ik kreeg GEEN antwoord toen ik reageerde met een voornaam en een Pools klinkende achternaam). Toen mijn partner reageerde met een Engels klinkende naam, werd er naar zijn nationaliteit gevraagd en na deze informatie kreeg hij nooit meer een antwoord, ondanks het feit dat hij een zeer hoog salaris heeft (in dit geval meer dan genoeg). Een paar dagen later reageerde ik met een Nederlands account en vrijwel zonder vragen (Frank) was hij bereid me uit te nodigen voor een bezichtiging van het appartement en reageerde vlot. Dergelijke praktijken zijn momenteel illegaal en de gemeente is het daarmee eens, dus hebben ze ook actie ondernomen. Ik raad ze niet aan.

A house found via Funda which Next Move real estate agents are selling. We placed a bid and subsequently received a counter offer with which we agreed. Then immediately contacted a financial advisor to apply for a mortgage because we had a deal! Incidentally, we got the green light from the mortgage advisor because everything looks good from our side! Subsequently requested multiple calls to receive a purchase deed after which we heard that the property was being sold to someone else while in my opinion we had a verbal agreement because we agreed with the counter offer. Poor way of doing business and poor communication...
