Sad experience with these real estate agents. I advise you not to speak with them in any language other than Dutch, especially not with the middle-aged realtor. As she explicitly said: 'Don't speak English to me in my country.' Unfortunately, I live in the same neighborhood as they do. With my two-year-old baby, we were walking along the street next to the office of AB Makelaars. My baby and I were talking softly. Because my baby likes the street, we walked past their door several times. The realtor, who nervously exited the door, told us that the space was private, that they couldn't speak with her client because of us, and that we had to leave immediately. Because I addressed her in English, she told me that I could not speak English with her in her country. After we had taken a few steps further, she noisily placed the plastic sign with the AB Makelaars logo on the road and said that we were not allowed to walk past it. For international people planning to contact AB Makelaars: be aware of what they really think of you, even if they give you a smile.

Be aware of this. ------------------------ Hello reader. Before you write, I advise you to read the bad reviews, because everything is already in there. I can say that they are the worst rental company I have ever encountered. Initially, I wrote a 2-line review, not detailed, with one star, and they published my full name because they blackmailed me to remove it. So I wrote this new, more detailed one, because you know how they work (see also the attached screenshots). Bad houses, bad service and fraud. We got the house at Geraniumstraat 35 (where the old clinic of Mr. Bristra, the owner of the company, was), and the conditions were disgusting. It still smelled like a pedicure, impossible to get rid of the smell. Mold everywhere, the roof was falling down in some places... It was a 123 year old house, without insulation, because they say a maximum of 6 months (legally you almost have no consumer rights in the Netherlands if the contract is that short). It took 2.5 months before they gave me back the deposit, and they confiscated 350 euros from us after we left to 'clean' things that were much cleaner than how we received them. They also demanded money from us for a supposedly lost old, cheap, simple key, which was not of the house. Go away. Don't let this kind of scammers make money by profiting from the housing situation they have created in Eindhoven.

As a tenant of a property through Brick Vastgoed, I can only be very positive. Recently, I handed over a property after much enjoyment, and this went excellently. A single review that speaks of unreasonableness during handover, I can refer to the realm of fables. When you take responsibility for leaving the property clean and in good condition, you have nothing to fear. Also during the rental period, the contact was always professional and focused on service and solutions when something was wrong. With an email, you often receive a quick answer and if you call, there is no endless waiting music, but a reachability that you rarely come across these days. In 1 word: Top! I would recommend Brick Vastgoed to any house hunter.
