Wij hadden helaas een zeer negatieve ervaring met deze makelaar tijdens een bezichtiging. 7 Mei, woning in Hengelo gld). De woning zelf sprak ons enorm aan, vooral de tuin en de sfeer van de locatie. We keken echt uit naar de bezichtiging, maar binnen vijf minuten stonden we alweer buiten door de manier waarop we werden behandeld. Op de dag van de bezichtiging kregen wij onderweg autopech. De auto verloor vermogen en produceerde enorme witte rookpluimen. We hebben onderweg contact gehad met onze garage in Deventer, een leenauto geregeld en daarnaast ook expliciet telefonisch overlegd met het kantoor van de makelaar over wat verstandig was om te doen. Wij gaven aan ongeveer een half uur later te zijn. Vanuit kantoor werd gezegd dat we gerust alsnog konden komen, ondanks dat er aansluitend nog een andere bezichtiging gepland stond. Uiteindelijk kwamen we ongeveer 35 minuten te laat aan op een bezichtiging van 45 minuten. Dat begrijpen wij uiteraard zelf ook en daarom boden wij direct onze excuses aan. Wat ons echter enorm tegenviel, was de ontvangst door de makelaar/eigenaar. De deur ging open met letterlijk de woorden: “Bent u de man die 40 minuten te laat is?” Geen begroeting, geen begrip voor de situatie en geen enkele poging om het gesprek op een normale manier te starten. Toen ik vervolgens zelf “goedemiddag” zei, kregen we direct te horen: “U weet dat we nog maar 10 minuten hebben?” Natuurlijk snapten wij dat er weinig tijd over was. Maar gezien het eerdere contact met kantoor had ik op z’n minst een professionele en klantvriendelijke ontvangst verwacht. Bijvoorbeeld iets als: “Fijn dat jullie er alsnog zijn, helaas hebben we niet veel tijd meer, maar kijk gerust even rond.” In plaats daarvan hing er vanaf seconde één een zeer vijandige sfeer. Ik heb zelfs nog uitgelegd wat er onderweg gebeurd was en beelden laten zien van de rookontwikkeling van de auto. Ondanks dat probeerden wij positief te blijven en alsnog een indruk van de woning te krijgen. Tijdens de rondleiding werd de toon echter alleen maar vervelender. Opmerkingen als: “Zo kan ik geen huis verkopen” en “Jullie zijn niet serieus” werden letterlijk gemaakt. Dat vond ik eerlijk gezegd behoorlijk beledigend. Wij rijden niet met ons gezin meer dan een uur heen en weer, regelen onderweg een leenauto en overleggen vooraf netjes met kantoor om vervolgens “niet serieus” genoemd te worden. Ik probeerde het gesprek juist constructief te houden. Ik gaf aan dat mijn vriendin graag terug wil naar de Achterhoek en dat wij wél serieus geïnteresseerd waren. Ook stelde ik normale inhoudelijke vragen over de woning, zoals over de opgenomen clausules (bijvoorbeeld de ouderdomsclausule) en of er een bouwtechnisch rapport aanwezig was. Toen bleek dat er geen bouwkundig rapport lag en ik in een luchtige toon zei: “Ja haha, lekker bij de koper neerleggen,” werd daar direct zeer geïrriteerd op gereageerd met: “Is dit de toon? Laten we maar stoppen.” Ik stond echt perplex. Ik had juist meerdere keren gevraagd hoe hij het prettig vond gezien de beperkte tijd en het volgende gezin dat eraan kwam. Ik probeerde rekening te houden met iedereen. Mijn vriendin en ik stonden allebei verbijsterd buiten. Uiteindelijk mochten we nog heel kort zelf rondlopen, maar de hele ervaring was inmiddels volledig verpest. Vanuit de auto heb ik vervolgens nog naar het kantoor gebeld om mijn ervaring te delen en gevraagd of ik wellicht de eigenaar kon spreken. Toen bleek dat de man die ons had rondgeleid zelf de eigenaar van het kantoor was. Dhr Lebbink. Ontzettend jammer allemaal, want de woning zelf was interessant. Maar door deze ervaring is ons enthousiasme volledig verdwenen. Een bezichtiging hoort professioneel, respectvol en klantvriendelijk te verlopen — ook wanneer mensen door overmacht te laat zijn en daar vooraf netjes over communiceren. Ik heb hem gisteren een bericht gestuurt met de mededeling het alles te betreuren en ik vroeg hem mij te contacten. Tot dit moment niets van hem vernomen.
