In our search for a new home, I have used Grotenhuis Makelaardij several times as a buyer's agent. Where they primarily distinguish themselves is that, in addition to guidance throughout the entire purchasing process, they also work on a basis of modular services. Ideal in our situation because within a short timeframe we had to find a property and were not bound to the specific working area of the real estate agent. We have now purchased our dream home, a property that unfortunately fell outside the working area of Grotenhuis Makelaardij. That does not diminish the fact that we are enormously grateful to Fabian for the knowledge we gained thanks to him (such as what we should pay attention to when purchasing a home and what a very well-finished property is approximately worth in the current housing market). I am convinced that this would not have succeeded for me otherwise (yet) without this knowledge. In the future, there will certainly be a moment when we return to this area; Grotenhuis Makelaardij will then absolutely be the first real estate agent I involve in my search. Fabian, thank you again for everything you were able to mean to us! You are an excellent real estate agent with enormous knowledge, which together with your always friendly and positive demeanor distinguishes you as a professional within your field and as a real estate agent within the area.

She always responds promptly when I had a question and called after each viewing to tell us how it went. But the real estate agent can’t do anything about that, so I won’t score them differently on that.

Enabled as purchasing broker. We viewed the property without the broker. We called them for 4 days in a row and we were supposed to receive a call back. That never happened. Now it turns out they are actively working for another party as a purchasing broker for the same house. Never heard anything about that. The broker went on vacation. The secretary also knew nothing. Terrible internal communication & not treated nicely.

The only point of attention is that the broker who conducted the initial meeting ultimately did not lead the viewings (it was done by a colleague from the office whom we didn't meet). This made it somewhat less personal, although otherwise it’s a small team.
