We bought a property through this real estate agent, after we had agreed on the price with the seller, we went to the notary. There were no keys to the property there and also no viewing was planned with the real estate agent beforehand. When the notary himself called the real estate agent, they said that we should just come and collect the keys. We didn't do that. And so no transfer could take place. At the end of the day I was called by the real estate agent and told that I was rude, while all I had said was that I thought it was a strange way of doing things. Eventually, the day after, 1 key was received from the real estate agent without an apology, no mailbox keys or anything like that. After repeatedly asking, the seller would send the key, in a regular envelope which arrived empty at my home. Again, no service whatsoever from the real estate agent. So now I bought another cylinder myself. But you don't have to count on the service of this real estate agent. After posting this message, I was called by Tim and spoken to very rudely, stating that I should be happy he called in his free time. Well Tim, here’s my applause 👏🏼

Actually, everything is going well during the sale of our house. Attentiveness, alertness during the first conversation, presentation, viewings, negotiations, follow-up appointments and the notarial settlement. After the sale, we want to rent an apartment. Aelmans acknowledges that rental properties are not their “thing” and the support is therefore “meager”. Perhaps drawing up a protocol for renters will help.

Very satisfied with Aelmans during the sale of our house. From the request for a quote to the actual sale, we were very well guided. No question was too much and all appointments were always kept as agreed. All employees we dealt with were also always very friendly. Our personal experience was very bad, resulting in us experiencing financial consequences. In short, we wanted to sign for a house for 4 months already, and we were told that the contract was coming .... and ultimately ..nothing happened, a bit of a shame (this occurred in 2019/2020)

Many false promises were also made to the buying party, going far below the asking price so they could just get rid of it, secretly selling a property behind our backs that we were interested in.

My experience is that you better not let anything be sold through this company. If you get interested parties, you don't get any reactions if you show interest. It also turns out that they are selling municipal land below price while there were higher bids. Whether with or without the knowledge of the officials involved who handle the sale. I will still be requesting these data from the Cadastre and then I will post screenshots here. The municipality will also contact me about this. Just posting this warning.

Far too little time was allocated for potential buyers. In short, (too) much money was paid for little service.

A nightmare that you as a buyer never hope to experience. Presents his sales clients as super correct. Unfortunately, we were completely misled by this. The housing market gives buyers little time and space, so a reliable presentation is certainly to be expected from an NVM real estate agent. Now they've gone down with a damage claim of over € 20,000, after we had already bid over € 15,000. Replacing a completely rotten sliding door afterwards, which was nicely concealed with a smooth layer of paint. Mold in the wall. We had requested a response from this realtor, no response! Very unreliable realtor, had us sign a preliminary purchase agreement and claimed we hadn't requested a structural survey with our offer, (afterward we know why because he didn't want us to discover that the roof was in poor condition) after it became clear to him that we did indeed have a technical building inspection as a condition and we told him that he was not allowed to sell our house because we entrusted it to another realtor (who had actually done an honest valuation), we haven't heard or seen Mr. anymore, he let us know via the app and our sales realtor that the sale would not go through!! All in all, an unreliable realtor who wants to trick you with smooth talk for his own gain.

Eventually managed to find a slot to call, and got through to the relevant broker who communicated rather rudely and, in my opinion, coarsely. Whether this is really in the interest of the selling party, I seriously doubt. But well, Mr. gave us no chance and is now waiting for a dealer who will buy up the entire deal.
