We had a viewing scheduled with owner Joris and traveled 1 hour to view the house, but he didn't show up without informing us. We tried calling him and colleagues multiple times, but they were unreachable.

Marga Paulich is an unreliable and especially bad appraiser. Our home was given an energy label A with a beautiful appraisal report. However, Marga felt that the roof of the shed was dirty (given the winter, it's logical for leaves to be on it). She could not clearly name further appraisal points. Instead, she came up with points which were matters of taste or addition. These points are not important for an appraisal. When you ask for explanation, she no longer answers the phone. Mrs. engages in practices that are not allowed and does not follow the correct path of sales. This lady will therefore never be engaged by us, family and acquaintances, and a complaint will be filed with the disciplinary committee. Do not absolutely engage this lady for selling your home.

Very pushy and rude. Asked me for a commission of 1 month for a property where they were the landlord. Also charged an unreasonable rent. People need to go to the Rental Committee to get that money back. They bark a lot with legal threats, but there's no bite. Edit: To clarify the points that NS-realestate brought up in their response to this review: I work as a tenant rights activist. I occasionally go undercover and do research on bad real estate agents and landlords. NS RealEstate came onto my radar about 3 years ago due to displaying advertisements stating that applicants had to pay them a commission of 1 month, even though they were advertising on behalf of the landlord for the property. When asked about this during a phone call, the owner of the company became very impolite and aggressive and started threatening legal action. In 2024, NS Vastgoed was banned from Pararius for charging these fees and have adjusted their advertisements on Funda to omit this fee. Curious, I applied under a pseudonym for a property where they are advertising in Apeldoorn and the owner of NS-vastgoed openly admitted that they charge commission fees but still represent the tenant. It also turned out that the property in Apeldoorn did not have an energy label (legally required when renting) and the rent (1500 euros) was at least 750 euros above the limit legally allowed according to the WWS point system. I have also been approached by tenants who rent from NS-realEstate and have discovered that they not only charge commission fees, but they also act as landlords, which means they have a huge conflict of interest when it comes to their claim that they 'work for the tenants'. Again, the rent (850 euros) for this accommodation in Utrecht was almost double the maximum legally allowed rent. NS Vastgoed has other warning signs: their office is located in a garage box in Almere. They were confronted by other tenants who dared to object to the rent. I reported them to the ACM for unfair business practices and NS's response has repeatedly threatened to sue me. Overall, NS Real Estate has shown complete ignorance of the law and relies on charging tenants these commission fees.
