Date unknownVery bad experience with Vesta. Especially the valuation by B. I still have my doubts whether he is a NVM appraiser. He looks in the land registry for surrounding sold homes and immediately has his price ready. He doesn't look at individual aspects that can influence the value of homes at all. Without consultation, he immediately places his report on the NWWI site. Very careless, very un-customer focused and would NOT recommend anyone to do business with him. Make sure you don't have to deal with him, because he will rip you off.

Although we had previous experience with real estate agents in Amsterdam, we consciously chose a local party. Date unknownWith thanks for the neat response below and the knowledge that where “meat is chopped, splinters fly”, I would gladly adjust three “penalty points” to one. Because making mistakes is allowed, especially when you acknowledge them and learn from them! Who knows, see you at the next dream house…. 😃 While the sounds are quite common that the housing market is no longer as strained as it was a year ago, this realtor still whips things up nicely… For a house that was for sale, I called and offered more than 6% above the asking price. The person who answered the phone wasn’t thrilled about that, because the purchase contract had already been drawn up with someone who had bid even more. When I indicated that I could also offer more, the person stated that I would then have to offer more than 15% above the asking price. A considerable challenge, but when I said I was willing to pay it, the person indicated they would call me back. Unfortunately, that was over three weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything since. And you can say that that was fair, because the draft purchase contract had already been drawn up at the time I called, but that invitation to offer more than 15% is still a bit surprising (to put it mildly) and not calling back ever is quite disappointing, so the three stars space for improvement that I give here are truly justified.

03 Mar 2025I bought a new build property, so I thought about having a building inspection done. But when he arrived and I told him I’d already been to the notary, he asked me why am I here then? Then it's a waste of your money because nothing can be changed anymore. So he still walked through the house nicely. But he was honest enough to say that it was a waste of money and therefore saved me €450 by not charging me. Thanks again for your honesty, you could have easily earned money that day.

Initially, we were overwhelmed by the enormous pace behind the entire process set by Dennis, and we had many questions that weren't immediately answered. Since we don't buy or sell a house every week and sometimes didn't know the next step, we had considerable doubts about the guidance. After a good conversation, Dennis -and later Laura- gave us the confidence that everything would be alright. Dennis has extensive knowledge of the market and a large network to steer the purchase and sale process successfully. His technical building expertise also proved very useful. 15 Feb 2025Recently I bought a house and De Huizenbemiddelaar is the selling agent for the house. We had terrible experiences with the collaboration with them, because the agent fails to perform the basic tasks that he should do. There were multiple leaks in the house when we received the transfer and both our agent and the selling agent failed to resolve the problem. The only thing I consistently got from them was that the owners were unavailable and that they handed over the house with all the discarded furniture they had left behind. unnecessary, it was elementary politeness to remove their belongings and provide a good handover. Be careful when choosing this broker, whether you are a seller or a buyer.

We have offered to pick up the bank (sofa) and wardrobe left by the sellers at our expense, but we have not yet received a response.
