Date unknownVery bad experience with Vesta. Especially the valuation by B. I still have my doubts whether he is a NVM appraiser. He looks in the land registry for surrounding sold homes and immediately has his price ready. He doesn't look at individual aspects that can influence the value of homes at all. Without consultation, he immediately places his report on the NWWI site. Very careless, very un-customer focused and would NOT recommend anyone to do business with him. Make sure you don't have to deal with him, because he will rip you off.

We didn't want to just sell our house to anyone after 28 years, and he understood that perfectly. I found it incredibly exciting, but Martin was there, understood it, and guided the process in a warm and empathetic way. Accessible, connected to who we are, and with an eye for the entire process. Besides Almere, he is very familiar with Lelystad, which was very important to us. We also appreciated that he well supported the buyers of our house because they were very enthusiastic but also overwhelmed because they're so in love with our house. Date unknownWith thanks for the neat response below and the knowledge that where “meat is chopped, splinters fly”, I would gladly adjust three “penalty points” to one. Because making mistakes is allowed, especially when you acknowledge them and learn from them! Who knows, see you at the next dream house…. 😃 While the sounds are quite common that the housing market is no longer as strained as it was a year ago, this realtor still whips things up nicely… For a house that was for sale, I called and offered more than 6% above the asking price. The person who answered the phone wasn’t thrilled about that, because the purchase contract had already been drawn up with someone who had bid even more. When I indicated that I could also offer more, the person stated that I would then have to offer more than 15% above the asking price. A considerable challenge, but when I said I was willing to pay it, the person indicated they would call me back. Unfortunately, that was over three weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything since. And you can say that that was fair, because the draft purchase contract had already been drawn up at the time I called, but that invitation to offer more than 15% is still a bit surprising (to put it mildly) and not calling back ever is quite disappointing, so the three stars space for improvement that I give here are truly justified.

03 Mar 2025I bought a new build property, so I thought about having a building inspection done. But when he arrived and I told him I’d already been to the notary, he asked me why am I here then? Then it's a waste of your money because nothing can be changed anymore. So he still walked through the house nicely. But he was honest enough to say that it was a waste of money and therefore saved me €450 by not charging me. Thanks again for your honesty, you could have easily earned money that day.

Date unknownWhen I wanted to sell my house, I invited 3 real estate agents for a meeting; Daniëlle and two gentlemen. As part of the meetings, we walked through the house. Where the gentlemen didn't get further than “beautiful, light, spacious” and a total of 1 piece of constructive criticism, Daan gave two or three technical or aesthetic tips in each room to make the house more sellable at a low cost. You can’t test it and therefore also can’t be sure, but I am myself convinced that my house was sold for a higher price thanks to her advice. A tip for people who don't know which sales agent to choose: when you have drawn up a shortlist of agents, compare on housing sites the properties that those agents have offered in the recent past. Who has the most beautiful photos? The most attractive texts? If you do this, I think you too will come to the conclusion that Daan is an excellent choice to protect your interests.

08 Feb 2025Recently I bought a house and De Huizenbemiddelaar was the selling real estate agent. We had an awful experience with them because the agent did not perform the basic tasks that he should have done. There were several leaks in the house when we took possession of it, and neither our agent nor the selling agent addressed the problem. All I heard from them was that the owners were unavailable and that they handed over the house with all their discarded furniture which they no longer needed. It would have been courteous to take their belongings with them and hand over a clean property. Be careful when choosing this real estate agent, whether you are a seller or buyer.

They state that there were no leaks at the time of sale, and the structural inspection of the property has also not shown any leaks. Of course, this is a very unpleasant situation for you. We have offered to pick up the bank (sofa) and wardrobe left by the sellers at our expense, but we have not yet received a response.
