I had the worst rental experience of my life with Amstel Vastgoed. They wasted days of my life by sending me e-mails with incorrect information that I then had to keep correcting by going to Woon!. In the end, I moved out and the owners they represent withheld the cleaning costs, despite Amstel Vastgoed writing in the report that the apartment was spotless. In fact, they represent people who hope to profit from the ignorance of foreigners in order to quickly make money. Disgusting.

Begin 2021 ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een appartement in Amsterdam en ik ben blij dat Aviad en het team me hebben geholpen mijn weg te vinden in de hectische Amsterdamse woningmarkt. Scam! Warning!! Be careful with this real estate agency!! They scammed my wife and me and did not return the deposit. Their target group are expats, because it's much easier to deceive them. Not only for money, but also because they don't ask for a commission at the beginning. They rent out apartments that are way too expensive and keep a portion of the rent every month, while they only give the owner 50% of the payment. For example, if there's a small apartment with a rent price of €3000, the actual value is probably €1500. They keep the rest every month, plus the deposit they don't return. Instead of filing a lawsuit against Dutch people, it's easier to scam new expats. So please be careful!
