Regarding the second property, I really appreciated that he called to inform us about it when bids came in earlier than the deadline for indicating whether we would make an offer, and to ask if we were still interested. In that case, we could still place a bid until the previously agreed date; in the second instance, he would have already given it a push. (The property had already been sold to a buyer who ultimately did not secure financing, so this second round proceeded somewhat differently than the standard procedure) Because we were hesitant and didn't want to deny other interested parties, but Jonathan otherwise gave us the space to think about it for a few more days.
