This was after closing time for bids. They went to discuss with the sellers. He was supposed to receive a callback the same day. On Christmas Eve, he heard via WhatsApp that the offer from others had been accepted. So dirty. They are still working with their legal expenses insurance to find out if what is stated in the response is true. According to the law, verbal promises are legally binding. Now our son has received it in writing that he was the one whose bid was accepted. Let the judge decide.

Most scandalous realtor ever. Being called in the morning to tell us we had the house for the bid we made. Bids were supposed to already be in. Being called in the evening that they actually received a higher bid and we could match it. Pure fraud. Watch out for the tricks of these scammers !!! (Following the owner's response) Today my wife called the realtor again to see if she could still make an offer, more than one and a half weeks after the bids were supposed to be in. She was still told nonchalantly that she could still place a bid. So watch out people, if you submit a bid through this realtor their “word” is worthless. They play you off each other and try to get higher bids from other parties until the last moment. They are also not affiliated with NVM. In short, be careful with these cowboys!
