Horrendous office with terrible communication. The first time I met them at the office was to pick up my keys. The person handling my case decided it would be funny to pull my leg and say he didn't have the keys. I didn't find that funny after a 2-hour drive. They will also not hesitate to charge you for things that are not legal. I once had to call a lawyer to get them to back down because they made a mistake in the contract which prevented them from raising my rent. Actually, they shouldn't be allowed to raise my rent ever and have already tried to do so several times. The only time they were nice and professional was when they called to ask when I planned to move out, because the landlord forced them to pay the difference they couldn't charge me. With their attitude and behavior, I would gladly want to live here for another 20 years with a frozen rent 🤗

We were able to buy a wonderful house in Amersfoort with great pleasure and success, thanks to the help of Arne Hopstaken. It was an educational search process, during which Arne let us experience the process and so we arrived at the right location, property, and offer. Do not do business with this company. They are scammers, steal your money and bring nothing but misery. The administration is not in order, resulting in you repeatedly receiving incorrect invoices for extremely high amounts that were not contractually agreed upon (in my case, bizarrely high costs were charged that were not my responsibility). Subsequently, you incur collection fees and they threaten further action because you have not paid the invoices. After 20 times of emailing and calling, during which they are almost always unreachable, I was finally vindicated with various excuses including “transition to a new administration”, “very busy”, “overworked employees”, etc. Then still had to wait half a year and repeatedly remind them to get money back, which amounted to seriously large amounts (1000+ euros). During the final inspection where both the landlord and an employee of Govaert were present, it was agreed that 100 euros would be withheld from the deposit due to a door that was no longer neat. This was clearly agreed in writing in various email correspondence. Subsequently, a 3x higher amount was withheld from the deposit. The money was never seen again. Communication is impossible, even email correspondence is in flawed Dutch. This company is truly heartbreaking. In addition to dozens of hours and attempts trying to get your money back (which ran from November 2023 to June 2024), it’s a terribly rude way to treat customers. I wholeheartedly advise everyone to rent your home anywhere but here. I also urge potential landlords to place their real estate elsewhere, because they also treat the landlords badly.

Your electric scooter does not belong on the bike path within the built-up area but on the road. And certainly not at full speed, and certainly not overtaking in the bend and scaring other cyclists - and if you then hang behind cyclists, it is useless to start tailgating. To overtake them, you could suddenly move over to the road.

After much deliberation, here's a review. We bought 2 houses and sold 1 through Van Vulpen. The purchase of our second house via Sjors went smoothly. The purchase of our first house via Antoinette was very stressful and an unpleasant way of communicating. We thought that would be an advantage for the sale of that same house because she was extremely on top of things, among other things. Unfortunately, we quickly regretted choosing her. The tone of voice, the demanding nature, the speed at which everything had to happen while we weren't in a hurry, the lack of legal knowledge while the contracts are templates, not being open to other insights (e.g., the photos), suddenly 2 square meters less surface area while they themselves had measured it previously, etc. I really fell off my chair when she proposed a very low selling price while demand was enormous and similar houses in the neighborhood were being bought for a ton (!!!!) more. It was called strategy... We increased the selling price somewhat and there was huge demand but.. yes, it sold quickly and yes the price isn't bad but still significantly below the selling prices of similar houses around us. It wasn’t a fixer-upper, the m2 was comparable, etc. To this day I absolutely don't feel that everything possible has been done and we have therefore missed out on a nice amount… A professional completion (flowers, etc.) was also not present. Apart from that, there was never an apology for anything, madam knew better, felt she was always right and lecturing us wasn’t a problem for her either. All in all, a very, very unpleasant, exhausting experience that still hurts when I look back on it. A shame, they earned a lot of money from us (3 houses!!)… The real estate agency is fine but Antoinette absolutely not.
