In June 2023, the shared property in Bussum had to be sold and we approached several real estate agencies, including PUUR. The ladies came across as enthusiastic and competent, which is nice because in a difficult situation it's good to be able to hand things over. During the home visit, however, Mariken let slip that they already had a potential buyer in portfolio or thoughts. That seems fine, but we didn’t really rush the sale. The remark about having a potential buyer raised questions, because as a real estate agent, who are you working for, the buyer or the seller? After all, the potential buyer wants to buy as cheaply as possible while the seller wants to receive the highest price for the property. The amount for which PUUR wanted to list the property on Funda was also the lowest amount of the five consulted real estate agencies. That gives you something to think about. Serving both the buyer and the seller is not even allowed because this constitutes an undesirable conflict of interest. We confronted PUUR Makelaars Bussum with this via email and never received a substantive response to this alleged double game, and therefore we did not enter into an agreement with this office. Look before you leap!
