Broker Dennis Eelman sold us a recreational property. We have nothing but praise for the property itself, but we are not really satisfied with the handling and communication of the office. We had to call repeatedly to get things done, and when the deal was closed, the broker was unavailable or barely reachable.

Begin dit jaar hebben wij als VvE de overstap gemaakt naar Gewoon VvE Beheer en daar hebben wij absoluut geen spijt van gehad. Eerlijk gezegd voelt het alsof wij van de hel in de hemel zijn gekomen. Waar onze vorige beheerder nauwelijks bereikbaar was, is dat hier compleet anders. Je belt en krijgt gewoon iemand aan de lijn. Er wordt gereageerd, teruggebeld en vooral gehandeld. Dat geeft rust binnen een VvE. Daarnaast is de communicatie tussen het bestuur en de beheerder erg prettig. Duidelijk, direct en zonder gedoe. Martijn is benaderbaar, denkt mee en zegt waar het op staat. Dat geldt overigens voor het hele kantoor. Vorige week hebben wij onze ALV gehad en ook dat hebben wij als zeer positief ervaren. Wij wisten vooraf niet goed wat wij moesten verwachten. Normaal zie je een beheerder en bestuur aan een tafel zitten en wordt een vergadering “afgedraaid”. Hier ging dat totaal anders. Martijn nam de volledige vereniging interactief mee door de vergadering heen en leidde de ALV met een duidelijke PowerPointpresentatie. Alles werd helder uitgelegd en leden werden actief meegenomen in de onderwerpen en besluiten. Hierdoor werd een normaal gesproken saaie vergadering ineens een leuke en interactieve bijeenkomst waar mensen daadwerkelijk betrokken bleven. Gaat alles perfect? Nee, natuurlijk niet. Ook hier worden fouten gemaakt. Maar het verschil zit erin dat zaken vervolgens ook echt worden opgelost. Wij zijn een VvE in Alkmaar met 68 appartementen en 100 parkeerplaatsen, opgeleverd in 2022, en kunnen Gewoon VvE Beheer absoluut aanbevelen aan andere VvE’s die op zoek zijn naar een betrokken, bereikbare en professionele beheerder.

Since last year we have switched; before that, we handled the management ourselves from the new construction. Due to lack of time, this proved to be a bad decision. Therefore, we got in touch with Gewoon VvE Beheer, who helped us to complete the annual work for 2024 and 2025 and take over the management of our VvE. So far, we are satisfied with their approach. Matters are resolved quickly and questions are answered directly. At the moment, as an association, we are happy and satisfied with their working method.

We have switched from another VVE manager to GewoonVVEbeheer. What a relief that was. Communication is clear and they stick to the agreements. The transition went smoothly and could have been even better if the previous manager had stuck to the agreements. Switched from our previous manager to Gewoon VvE Beheer, as a board we can rightfully say that we are helped as an association. Emails are answered quickly, phone calls are picked up and we receive good assistance. There is much contact between the manager and us as a board. We have regular contact with our relationship manager who is accessible. All in all, we are happy. We can therefore recommend Gewoon VvE Beheer.

When I had to move out of my old house, luckily I was able to get a new house through the housing mediator again. Thank you very much for this! Unfortunately, there are also some drawbacks. I have never received a final bill for gas and electricity from my old house since March 2023. Also, I've been trying to get my solar panels working for 3 months now. Every time they say they will look into it but so far it has not been resolved...

It is telling that this company chose the Night Watch as a wallpaper design for their new office building. After all, just as Rembrandt's masterpiece broke the artistic conventions of his time, the Housing Agency does not hesitate to violate the provisions in their own contracts – especially when it comes to refunding the deposit. After we had rented an apartment from them, my wife and I recently moved out and returned the apartment in excellent condition, as they confirmed in the handover protocol. Furthermore, we never had a rent arrears and delivered all documents they considered necessary for the refund of our deposit correctly. They confirmed this in writing and promised to return the money. However, it has already been more than 9 weeks since we received confirmation and over 10 weeks since the lease expired, and we still have not received our deposit back. We sent them multiple reminders and held them in default more than two weeks ago, but I suspect that Martijn Valk thinks he can keep our money because we moved abroad. This forces us to take legal action against them. Unless you want your hard-earned money to be invested in a shiny neon sign or a coffee machine in their hip new office building, I strongly advise everyone considering doing business with the Housing Agency to avoid these scammers at all costs!

I have rented a house for several years to my satisfaction; when something was wrong, it was repaired. Otherwise, I never had any problems with the rental property brokerage and received my deposit back punctually. So, my experience was simply very good.

Since January 1, 2025, Gewoon VvE Beheer is the new manager of VvE Ruimteplan DivMag at Het Arsenaal 44 in Den Helder. Gewoon VvE Beheer handles the technical, administrative and financial management for our VvE. We are very happy with this collaboration and experience Gewoon VvE Beheer as an experienced and highly involved manager who quickly addresses and resolves issues. The communication between Gewoon VvE beheer and the board is also of a very good level. As far as we are concerned, it is recommended for every VvE looking for a new manager.

Last year we decided to switch to Gewoon VvE Beheer (GVB) with the Homeowners Association (HOA). The preparatory discussions went well, clear agreements were made. This concerned not only the agreements between the HOA and GVB, but also the communication between the old HOA manager and GVB. This proceeded to great satisfaction. The transition was smooth and, of course, there are various matters that require further attention, such as authorizations with the banks. This too has been resolved in good cooperation. GVB is very proactive in solving all sorts of problems at the complex and with the owners. In doing so, the board is kept well informed and consulted. The critical reviews are simply removed. So here's a small update. While searching, they seem to think with you until you find a house. From that moment on, the service is very mediocre. If you need them, they don't come or respond very late or not at all, and ultimately nothing happens. Until you haven’t paid, then they are at your door within 2 days. It's just that I was in housing emergency and had no other choice; otherwise, I definitely wouldn't have chosen them. They claimed the problems I experienced were due to the landlord, which may well be true, but to resolve it, they do very little in my opinion.

Pay close attention if you do business with this company. My girlfriend has been terribly scammed and deceived by Martijn Valk and his cronies. She has already told her story but after serious intimidation and threats, I also want to issue an extra warning. I am absolutely not letting him off the hook; he has the name SCAMMER in Den helder but apparently no one dares to do anything about his mafia practices. It must stop. I will involve all media available to dethrone this crook. If you are also a victim of this man, feel free to contact me. Together we are strong and don't be intimidated.
