Vandaag 1 juni in de ochtend heb ik contact opgenomen met Hoekstra en Van Eck Makelaars in Amsterdam Noord om te informeren naar een winkelpand. Ik vroeg specifiek naar dit pand, waarop mij werd verteld dat het al verhuurd is. Toen ik vroeg per wanneer dat zo was, kreeg ik als antwoord: “Een maand zoiets.” Het pand stond op dat moment nog steeds online als beschikbaar en ook de poster hing nog bij het pand. Daarom reageerde ik met: “Oh vaag.” Nog voordat ik mijn zin kon afmaken, reageerde de medewerker met: “Jij vindt het vaag ja, doei!” waarna het gesprek abrupt werd beëindigd. De naam van de medewerkster werd niet genoemd, waardoor ik niet weet wie ik precies aan de lijn had. Het ging wel om een vrouwlijke medewerkster. Ik vond de manier van communiceren in dit gesprek niet prettig en niet netjes. Een rustige toelichting was hier op zijn plaats geweest, zeker gezien de situatie. Een paar jaar geleden kocht ik via Remco een woning, waar ik toen erg tevreden over was, maar deze manier van omgang vind ik zeer onprofessioneel!

Local market knowledge insufficient. Asking price too high, only after our initiative was the asking price adjusted downwards. Poor communication; an agent should provide support and relieve burdens. Unfortunately, we constantly had to take the initiative ourselves when adjusting poor photos, making adjustments to the preliminary purchase agreement regarding terms that were clearly discussed in advance, etc. In short, very dissatisfied, luckily the house was sold but I would strongly advise everyone against using this agent.

Contacted them for a renovation of my home because they performed the valuation during purchase. Had some questions following the conversation with my mortgage advisor. The employee I spoke to answered the questions with great difficulty, no interest or incentive to think along, and I was spoken to as if I were asking stupid questions. I gave this feedback to the relevant employee via email, and never heard anything back.
