We werken sinds 2024 samen met Vasgoed Unie en huren sinds april 2026 een tweede woning bij hen. Ze reageren altijd snel als er een probleem is met het appartement, de laatste keer zelfs op een zondag met een noodgeval. Ze reageerden direct en stuurden een specialist om de reparatie uit te voeren. Bij het uitchecken van de eerste woning was Vasgoed Unie, en met name Patricia, enorm behulpzaam. Ze zorgden ervoor dat we onze volledige borg terugkregen van de verhuurder, legden de feiten duidelijk uit en zorgden ervoor dat we eerlijk werden behandeld. Toen we het nieuwe appartement huurden, werd ons gegarandeerd dat we pas huur hoeven te betalen als alle openstaande zaken zijn gerepareerd en de woning klaar is om in te trekken. We kunnen hen van harte aanbevelen en zouden zo weer bij hen huren!

Poor accessibility. Only via email and then a callback appointment, but they don't follow through. Many unnecessary costs from small actions like adding someone to a contract. Slow response to service requests, leaving you stuck with a defect or leak for weeks. Unfriendly staff during phone contact. This company is part of the dubious real estate circuit that, as a housing seeker, unfortunately you can't get out of.

I had a very disappointing experience with this rental company. Although everything looks professional at first glance, the way in which tenant situations are handled in practice can be quite problematic. They will do everything to financially exploit you, especially if you are an expat. During my rental period (2020-2024), there was a clear lack of consistency between what was contractually agreed upon and how things were handled in practice. The communication was often unclear, and responsibilities that the rental company should have handled were sometimes shifted onto the tenants. They create unnecessary pressure and confusion, especially in situations such as contract termination and replacing the tenant. This led to avoidable stress (I experienced a lot of mental health issues due to dealing with them) and required legal help to resolve. All in all, I cannot recommend this rental company based on my experience.

As many other reviewers have already indicated, be very cautious with this real estate agency. They will try to take advantage of you if they get the chance and keep your security deposit in full. So be aware of what you are signing when you get involved with them and know your rights. Organizations that protect tenants have also warned me about this office, so I strongly advise you to stay as far away from it as possible.

Be careful with your deposit. They don't keep their agreements. We rented an apartment through this company with several students. 6000€ deposit in total. Real Estate Union would return it to our account within 4 weeks. After 4.5 weeks, we still haven't received anything back from them. You have to go through a lot to get your money back, not very professional. Besides, Koen is a nice guy!

Both stars are for Gé, who was nice and friendly. Vastgoed did not repair the leaking harmonicadeur and the broken screen, which formed an entire wall of our apartment (making that room unusable), during the 4 years we rented it, and only reacted again when we were going to move out. At that moment they suddenly had time to send a bunch of e-mails! asking for more reviews! Because the first viewings were not successful and they also did not want to spend time preparing the apartment for the new tenants. After we had cleaned the apartment, the lady from Vastgoed who came for the inspection refused to take off her dirty shoes, and we had to clean the apartment again before the handover. During that same period, my grandfather's doctors told him he would die within a week, so we were busy booking flights and moving the last items to our new home. Vastgoed said 'sorry that you are experiencing this' and demanded more viewings, haha, tried to get us to move out earlier and then threatened us with the rental contract, even though we had given them ample opportunity to view the property, as stipulated in Article 7 of the Civil Code. In short, just as unprofessional and clumsy as their copied responses from the '90s on reviews.

The team of Vast Goed Unie, especially Koen, helped us in finding a temporary accommodation due to water damage to our own home. Our experiences were very positive. Friendly, open and clear in communication and they keep their appointments! What also struck us was that when talking to other employees, they were well informed about our situation. I had a very bad experience with this real estate agency. They held €4,500 in my rent without valid reason, claiming that they couldn't rent the house after me due to damage on the walls, while they hadn't even scheduled a viewing. They charged me for a washing machine, while they had asked me by email to remove it from the house. (Not very smart.) The most concerning thing is that they have not resolved the serious moisture problems in the apartment for more than a year, despite repeated reports. Watch the video, that's my bedroom and my roommate's; it is absolutely unhealthy to breathe in this air, especially if it's your own bedroom. After a few months it got worse and I would wake up with itching or coughing. Even the agent who came for the final inspection was genuinely surprised that we were living there, given the terrible smell of moisture. When the situation escalated into a legal dispute, my lawyer sent an official letter to the real estate agency. Instead of acting professionally, they refused to accept the letter personally and clearly chose the side of the landlord. This tactic conveniently caused a three-month delay in the court case, which only benefits them and the landlord, not the tenant. Holding onto such an amount is frustrating, especially when you have to contribute to a new house, deposit, furniture, etc. Throughout the entire process I experienced a complete lack of responsibility, transparency and basic honesty. As a tenant you expect from a real estate agent a neutral and professional intermediary – this agency did exactly the opposite. I really hope that this office closes after all the negative reviews and lawsuits, because they give people a very difficult time, with a negative impact on their mental and physical health, as in our case. I strongly advise everyone considering renting through them to be extremely cautious. Based on my experience they do not protect the rights of tenants and are willing to use delay tactics if something goes wrong. UPDATE: A very diplomatic answer, but what about the part where my debt collector went to your office and one of your employees refused to accept the letter with the court date, while this had already been discussed by email? This has direct consequences for me, because it now takes three months longer before I get my money back. WELL DONE.

The worst real estate agent to work with. She was rude, blunt, unhelpful, disorganized, made me pay extra fees without reason and set up my contracts incorrectly in English and Dutch. The real estate agent took no responsibility for his mistakes. SUPER unprofessional and rude behavior. Avoid this company/person. I have known the Roelfzema couple for 12 years now as fellow VvE members. Actually, contact has been somewhat more intensive in the last 2 years to wake up the dormant VvE. Only since today's VvE meeting do I think we are more on the same page with each other: the future of the VvE is paramount.

Context: 2 years rented, always paid rent on time neatly, did a lot of chores in the house to keep things neat. Very bad company, I have been a tenant for 15 years, because of them I lost everything including my health. Advice to those parties working with that company. This company only thinks about their own wallet, it doesn't matter to them whether the parties lose something or long-term houses or shops remain vacant. They set very high demands for new tenants as if they don't want to rent them out when they are empty. This company has completely changed lately and is no longer trustworthy. Terrible! What a lack of attention. I left work at 15:20 for an inspection, paid for transportation, but no one showed up. I called and the realtor said: 'Oh yes, I forgot to call you this morning to let you know that the apartment is already rented out.'

Last year I rented from this company. When terminating the apartment, you receive a quick response and a clear explanation with the next steps. For my new home, I needed a landlord statement and they arranged it for me that same day. Thank you Daniëlle and Sabine for arranging this!

I am currently renting an apartment from this office, and my experience has been utterly frustrating. Legal rent according to Dutch law (Huurcommissieberekening): € 1.045,71/month Current rent price: € 1.815/month Despite the fact that they charge me more than € 770 per month for a 44 m² apartment in West Amsterdam, the office refuses to acknowledge the problem. When I asked a simple and legitimate question - what would be the legal rent price if they were to rent out this apartment today? - they completely ignored it in multiple e-mails. Instead of addressing the issue, they avoid the subject, refuse transparency and threaten legal action if I do not continue to pay too much. This is clearly bad faith and exploitation, especially towards expats who may not be fully aware of Dutch rental legislation. If you are looking for a fair and honest landlord, then stay far away from this office. Their practices are unfair and their lack of accountability is alarming.

Although I don't often write reviews, I want to share my disappointment with the service of the Amsterdam company. In the three years that I have been in my current home, I have constantly dealt with leaks. Every time I had to urge the Amsterdam company to investigate the leaks or repaint the yellow stains by constantly emailing and calling them. They seemed to be dealing with it very nonchalantly. Even if there is limited availability of craftsmen, you can at least communicate about this, and perhaps then you simply cannot handle the volume of rentals. And now, when I move out, the situation has even become dangerous with a leak through a lamp in the ceiling. A little over two weeks ago I reported this, but to date no one has come by or contacted me to make an appointment. Previously it was determined that the gutter needs to be replaced, but a sustainable solution is considered too costly. And that's not even mentioning how the technical service handled a gas leak with my gas heater, although an apology was made for that. Perhaps because this was a very dangerous situation. In addition, I am now experiencing problems with the rental department, now that I want to leave the house. I would like to resell some belongings, such as the dishwasher and the gas stove. Otherwise both the new resident and I have to move these items via a rented lift due to the narrow stairwell. 2.5 weeks ago I terminated the lease so you would think they would have more information about the subsequent process. Unfortunately, I am only told that I should assume that I have to hand it over empty, they don't yet know when they will start viewing from a list of candidates and I am not allowed to suggest any candidates myself. The unhelpfulness in this situation is very annoying. I sincerely hope for an improvement in the service, but it seems likely that this company is mainly out to make easy money and profits from indirect rental and does not take responsibility because of this. Houses of landlords are also neglected as a result, so they too have a bad deal in my opinion. This company has made living in my rented apartment less enjoyable and caused extra stress. That's why I am happy that I will no longer have anything to do with them once I leave the house. I moved in here with leaks and I’m leaving here with leaks. I sincerely hope that the new tenant receives better service and is not further neglected, and that there is no abuse of the shortage on the housing market. AS A RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE, emails were not immediately answered, this was also admitted in subsequent emails that something had been overlooked. Sometimes I contacted them for 5 days in a row to get a response. I have called more often too, and that wasn't even registered, and furthermore the leaks lasted for months because nothing was done so mostly during the time I lived there it was with leaks. Furthermore, I was also readily available and people had to come up from my neighbor’s roof. If I don’t answer once and an unknown number calls, I can’t call back and no voicemail is left. I cannot be on standby 24/7 to answer my phone, I simply work 40 hours. Disappointing response where no responsibility is taken. I wanted to remove this eventually if things were handled properly but with this I'll just leave it.

Een werkelijk uitstekend verblijf bij Staysome Amsterdam. Gunstig gelegen en goed bereikbaar, perfect om stressvrij door de stad te reizen. De kamer is brandschoon en goed onderhouden, met een moderne maar toch gastvrije stijl (de zichtbare balken zijn prachtig), een comfortabel bed, een grote tv en alles is netjes georganiseerd. De koffie-/kruidentheehoek met waterkoker en koffiezetapparaat werd ook zeer gewaardeerd. Het terras is een echte plus: perfect om 's avonds te ontspannen of te ontbijten. Een echte aanrader, ik zou hier graag nog eens verblijven! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
