Subject: Experience with Makelaardij Staete – apartment complex Steenenburg, Drunen Our experience with Makelaardij Staete regarding the purchase of an apartment in the Steenenburg complex in Drunen has unfortunately turned out to be disappointing. The first conversation was positive and clear agreements were made about the information we would receive. After a few days, however, we had heard nothing. On our first inquiry by e-mail, there was no response. Only after a second message did we receive a short notification that the relevant real estate agent was absent. After his return, a substantive response remained missing again. In the end, we sent an extensive letter in which we explained our reasons to withdraw from the purchase. We also received no response to this letter. This course of action we experience as not very customer-friendly and not in line with the care that is to be expected from a real estate office. The lack of follow-up and communication has led us to frustration and loss of trust in the further purchase process. This lack of communication and customer-friendliness is frustrating and unprofessional, especially for a party that is guiding a major purchase. Jil
