A while ago we put our house up for sale and engaged Staete for that purpose. Photos were taken (for which you naturally pay) and then a beautiful presentation with a premiere where we heard there were quite a few reactions. Unfortunately, after that, few reactions and viewers; as clients, we had to push this broker behind the scenes to call people back. We, as clients, had to request a meeting because after months of nothing happening, we’d had enough. After a meeting, we decided to stop working with Staete, followed by an invoice for all the work they had done for us. Two appointments and an hour of open house, for approximately 1000 euros because it was in the contract. Our new broker told us that this was, although it was in the contract, a scandalous amount, and that not always the full price is charged. This broker said we should call them anyway. We did, but Staete is unyielding; all the work they did (2 appointments, an hour of open house, and listing on Funda) still had to cost 1000 euros. Sad, so this broker is certainly not recommended; unfortunately, I received other feedback too late, so I hope my review reaches others in time. On Funda, reviews are only accepted after your house has been sold to everyone’s full satisfaction, so they are always positive, and therefore they referred me to Google.
