This might not be an average review, but I wanted to share our experience anyway. Makelaardij Friesland guided the sale between Elkien and us (we bought our rental property). The contact was generally good, and we usually got a quick response. Everything went through e-mail; there has been no personal contact. Unfortunately, there was another mistake made in the purchase contract with the names. Because of this, we were unable to complete the purchase before our vacation and had to pay an extra month's rent. That was a bit disappointing. Since this was our first purchased home and we were very proud, we asked for a 'sold' sign on the window. The response to this was a bit laconic; it wasn't done because it was a housing association purchase and they didn't want to get questions they weren't expecting. It might have been a small effort for them, but for us it could have been a big and beautiful gesture.

Today we had an appointment at 4:30 PM for a viewing. Even before we rang the doorbell, we saw the real estate agent with another client. When we rang the doorbell at 4:30 PM, however, the door remained closed for five minutes. Eventually, the real estate agent opened the door, only to tell us that he was still busy with a viewing of a client who was late. If we wanted to wait five minutes, after which he would close the door again immediately. After waiting another five minutes and looking around in the garden, we decided that this was not acceptable to us and left. During the return trip, the real estate agent called us to apologize. That was nice, but too late for us.
