Grossly unpleasant agent, with grossly arrogant people! Sophie Kwelhorst (or Kwaalhorst or Kwijlhorst) in the lead. If you want to leave, then inspections come and the first thing they say is: 'professional cleaning at your expense.' While I had properly cleaned the tent. They know nothing about furnishings or their removal and can't really distinguish grass from artificial grass, because their administration is worthless. They do everything for the landlord (whom they trust more than the tenant) and the tenant can go to hell! Worthless bunch! Naomi Wallet (tasty, but only in the afternoon) is an unimaginably customer-obsessed woman. Vignesh Subramanian is owner of a property through them: Liechtensteinstraat 41, 1363CK Almere.

We moved to a furnished apartment that 1) was not cleaned (poop stains on the carpet that came out with one carpet cleaning, broken toys in glassware and dishes, stacks of paper and dirt under furniture, poop stains in the toilets, etc. (I could go on) 2) had broken appliances (washing machine/dryer not properly connected causing the floor to be flooded, freezer above broken, pond pump broken) 3) had broken furniture (commodes completely unstable and tipping over, broken and cracked plates and glasses that can't hold liquid, springs from the footstool completely gone and unable to bear weight, carpet on the stairs not properly fixed to the stairs causing slip and safety issues, etc.) 4) had non-working electricity (multiple outlets not working, the ventilation in the bathroom not working causing alarms to go off after hot showers) 5) had a bad handover (on the photo there were 4 sets of keys, we received more than 50 without information or labels). We asked for instructions for the fireplace and they answered with 'wood'. 6) There was trash. We opened drawers and found broken sunglasses, hats clearly not worn for years, Tupperware that didn't fit together, etc. 7) The items that were on both photos of the apartment (taken before we realized for the last time that we had bought the house) and the inspection by our real estate agent had changed, resulting in the furnishings not being what we expected. All TVs were gone, a desk was missing, a single mattress was left without bed frame, etc. The communication from the real estate office, Interhouse, was not optimal. When we report a defect, they say that no one has ever had that problem before. At check-in, clearly none of the outlets were tested. They also dismiss this as defects in the rental conditions, despite advertising a furnished house. I currently advise against hiring through them as a representative if you want a smooth process. I will adjust my message if there is improvement in the next two years. Should you still have to hire through them, document everything by email and force them to add supplements to their check-in photos. Try every outlet and switch. And if they ask you 'can they send someone', then they don't ask that and have already sent it. That's quite annoying and a lack of respect for personal space and time.

What an incredibly bad experience with this real estate agency! They first make empty promises and give you hope, to then completely let you down with the most ridiculous excuses. Our joint income of €8000 per month was supposedly not enough security for a property of €2000 per month? Who do they actually think they are dealing with? This clearly feels like a lame excuse to reject us, while initially acting very enthusiastic to reel you in. On top of that, the employees are downright arrogant and disrespectful (Naomi Wallet 🤢). They are young girls who greatly overestimate themselves and clearly have no idea how to treat people properly. Their attitude was unprofessional and condescending from the beginning, as if they were better than their clients. The entire process was a waste of our time and energy. I strongly advise everyone not to work with this real estate agency. They are dishonest, untrustworthy and show that they have no respect for their customers. Please find another realtor who does understand what professionalism means.

‼️ AVOID INTERHAUS AT ALL COSTS! ‼️ I want to warn everyone about renting through Interhaus. My experience with them was a complete nightmare. I moved out of a property in Hilversum, Simon Stevinweg 44. After waiting for a month for my deposit (which amounted to almost € 2000), the landlord suddenly came up with a number of ridiculous extra charges. Without any explanation or proof, I was charged for taxes and replacement of locks. To this day, I have not received any invoices or documentation that justifies these 'costs', but € 500 was deducted from my deposit! I only received € 1500, while I had left the apartment in perfect condition. This kind of behavior from the landlord, combined with the total lack of support from Interhaus, is unacceptable. If you value your money, time and peace of mind, STAY AWAY FROM INTERHAUS!

Very special, we rented out this property for almost 5 years (!) ago for the landlord. You leave a review for something that happened between you and the landlord, you are not our customer or client. I understand that you cannot leave a review for the landlord, so you do it this way.

The worst experience ever. We did not get our deposit back after moving out of the property. We have been waiting for it now for 6 months. During the final inspection (before we left the property), the landlord kept pointing out defects that were already there before we moved in. Interhouse had taken photos of these defects beforehand, but for some reason the owner did not believe those photos, and Interhouse did not help to resolve this. The landlord asked for an extra month's rent, even though I had given him the agreed notice period of one month. When I explained the situation to Interhouse, they said I was right, but later chose the side of the landlord (of course, because he is their customer). The landlord and Interhouse are in the same boat.

The worst experience ever! I left more than a month ago and they keep taking money from my deposit for costs that I don't even understand. The costs are enormous and there are no details, and when I ask for them, they don't give any explanation. It seems like the landlord is trying to renovate his house with my deposit. I don't even know for sure if I'll get my deposit back. I had to go to the police station, call a lawyer and then engage a debt collector. They keep sending me costs for a handyman who doesn't even do things that nearly 1000 euros worth of repairs, while he can do everything in one day. And when I ask for details, they tell me nothing; the worst office ever. Be careful, they rob you!! And you never hear anything else about your deposit. Up to today I still receive invoices for 'handyman work' for 'various jobs' that cost 300 euros each and I don't understand why he doesn't do everything at once. Never get involved with this office, you'll never get your money back. I asked them why the cleaning cost 380 euros, while it's 35 euros per hour and legally you can't even have someone work 10 hours a day... they remained vague about cat hair. They said that they had to take the sheets to a laundromat. Huh... and that's 380 euros.... correct. And then they tried to make me pay for a mattress that I didn't even sleep on!!!! I asked them for photos, but they couldn't provide them, so just stay away from it, otherwise you'll never get your money back.

Zodra u die gevonden heeft, wilt u er zeker van zijn dat u deze huurt onder gunstige voorwaarden en met de juiste huurovereenkomst. Dit kan lastig zijn in een hectische en vaak onbekende woningmarkt waar de vraag hoog is en woningen schaars. Het vereist kennis, snelheid en het juiste netwerk om de juiste woning te vinden en te huren. Zelfs als u erin slaagt de juiste woning te vinden, is het proces nog niet voorbij. Hoe zorgt u ervoor dat u de woning ook daadwerkelijk krijgt en hoe kunt u er zeker van zijn dat de voorgestelde voorwaarden en de aangeboden huurovereenkomst eerlijk en correct zijn?

Een zeer slechte ervaring als huurder. We hebben het appartement brandschoon teruggegeven, op een klein zwart vlekje op de vloer na. Dat had makkelijk verholpen kunnen worden door het aangetaste houten gedeelte te vervangen. In plaats daarvan lieten ze ons geloven dat het niet te vervangen was en dat de vervangende vloer, zelfs als dat wel zo was, een andere kleur zou hebben. Ze lieten ons daarvoor 750 euro betalen. Over het algemeen behandelden ze me meerdere keren alsof ik geen klant was (met grove woorden en een harde stem). Ik raad dit verhuurbedrijf absoluut niet aan.

Very bad experience with this agency. The house was handed over dirty. No check was done before we received the keys. Also during checkout, we received confirmation from the insurance that the house had been extremely clean by us, after a month an amount was wrongly withheld after the house had been rented out via Airbnb. Never heard a reaction or apology from Interhouse.
