We hebben een zeer goede ervaring gehad met Team De Huizenbemiddelaar. Toen we met het proces begonnen, hadden we het huis dat we wilden kopen al gevonden. Ze hebben ons vooral geholpen met het doen van een bod en de onderhandelingen. Na ons eerste contact stelden ze de juiste vragen over ons budget en onze mogelijkheden, waarna ze snel de onderhandelingen startten. Diezelfde middag lieten ze ons weten dat de verkoper ons bod had geaccepteerd, wat fantastisch nieuws voor ons was. Gedurende het hele proces hebben ze een WhatsApp-groep aangemaakt voor snelle communicatie. Ze reageerden snel op onze vragen en legden elke stap van de procedure duidelijk uit. Op de dag van de notarisafspraak kwamen ze ook mee voor de eindinspectie van het huis en begeleidden ze ons naar de notaris, wat we erg op prijs stelden. Kortom, als je op zoek bent naar een betrouwbare en deskundige makelaar die je begeleidt bij de aankoop van een huis, kan ik hen zeker aanbevelen. We zijn erg tevreden over hun service.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this real estate agency. Although the agent I worked with was always very friendly and helpful, he clearly made sure that I ultimately ended up making a bad deal. I decided to use an agent precisely to avoid unnecessary overbidding, save money and find a good house. It turned out to be exactly the opposite. I ended up offering 25,000 euros more than the asking price for a house with no other offers made on it: this means that a) I paid too much for a house that apparently is not attractive (very strange and a red flag in Amsterdam), which probably means I will have to sell it at a loss in the future and b) that I actually wasted 25,000 euros which I could have used for renovation costs. My final impression is that my agent and the seller's agent already knew each other, and that I was in fact encouraged to overbid to benefit the seller and close the deal, even though it was not a good house, so that I could subsequently pay for my own agent's services. This is unethical behavior, as the ultimate goal of my agent should have been to serve my own interests and not just to close a deal at any cost, solely to receive the payment. I will never hire an agent again!

We appreciate the time and effort the real estate agent has invested in the entire buying process. They were professional and courteous, and during viewings Remco was very proactive. However, our experience was not entirely satisfactory. During the bidding process we felt that the outcome was more favorable for the seller than for us as buyers, because initially we were told that the value of the house was higher than the final appraisal value, which was somewhat disappointing. Additionally, the communication was not always as clear or consistent as we had wanted. We were not informed of the necessity to attend the structural inspection on the day of the notary appointment, which caused us to miss that important step. All in all, although we acknowledge their work, there are points that could be improved for a more balanced and transparent process.

Be careful when purchasing a property from this party. Does not act in good faith.
