All in all, my experience with this real estate agent was disappointing. At first everything went smoothly as long as the process was standard and problem-free. But as soon as the first setback occurred, I received multiple messages and phone calls in which it became clear that the customer's interest was not a priority. During the viewing, an important point was also overlooked, which indicates to me that the necessary expertise is lacking when it comes to starter homes and apartments. How this is with other types of properties, I cannot assess. Also, at the final delivery, some things were missed. When I discussed this later, they simply laid it on me as the buyer. The feeling that the real estate agent empathizes, takes responsibility or is really ready for the customer, I have not had here.

The start with Negen+ Makelaars was excellent: the first contact with Susan and the visit of the stylist deserve a thick 9+. Unfortunately, it then went less smoothly. The photographer was skilled and took beautiful photos. It took 1 week before we received the brochure. We did have to chase it up ourselves to get the property listed on Funda on the day we chose and were advised (negative point). Just before the property went live on Funda, the selling price was only determined, which in our opinion could have happened a bit earlier. We received a clear report from each viewing. The bidding process was exciting but we still got a good offer. All in all, a good real estate agent.

I had to think about this for a long time but still wanted to share it. I had a viewing for a house in Kattenbroek a few months ago, which was a pleasant experience in itself. It was just a bidding sale that, as far as I know, would close on Friday or Monday around 12 o'clock. My purchasing broker then submitted our bid a few minutes before the deadline. Then we were called that evening with the story that the property had actually been promised to someone else by the sellers but that I still had the highest bid. Then came the question of whether my offer was also without a financing condition. I indicated that it was. Eventually, however, the house went to the party to whom it had initially been promised by the seller. My suspicion, and why this feels bitter to me, is that my bid was passed on to the initial party and they got another chance to match it so that the sellers could get an even better deal and also keep their promises. Otherwise, I can't explain such a phone call. Furthermore, the highest bid is simply the highest bid when it works with registration. If the latter is not correct and there is a completely different explanation, I would like to hear it here, but I don’t think I can close this properly because it has been a very disappointing experience...
