Rick and his team helped me find a rental apartment for my daughter and her roommate, both students. The rental market is extremely tight and weeks of online searching yielded nothing. Landlords seem to not value students that much either, and a foreign guarantor (me) also doesn't help much. So I was quite desperate. Rick listened to all our criteria and limitations and promised he would find something for us. And he did! When he found an apartment that we liked, he gave us tips on how to write the best possible application and represented us with the landlord. After that, all steps until everything was signed and we got the keys followed. And all that while I was traveling in the US! (My sister did the viewings.)

If I could give 0 stars, I would have done so. This real estate agency excels in disorganization and poor communication. After a week of not hearing anything, I was informed by email that the rental had gone through via an 'other agent'. A few days later, again by email, I received the message that I had been selected after all and that I could move into the apartment within two days. The next day, this turned out to be incorrect again: a mistake had been made and the email had been sent to the wrong person. This immediately clarified that the process had not actually gone through another agent. Clear and reliable communication should be the core of a real estate agency's service, but UrbsLiving does not seem to take this seriously. Given the surprisingly numerous positive reviews, I also strongly question their reliability, as this rental process was far from professional. A particularly disappointing experience.
