Recently viewed a house at Mr J.M. de Kempenaersingel in Arnhem, sold by Marc from Van Geldre real estate agents. Knocked on the door, no one opened, eventually made contact through the window, but we had to wait a while. 10-15 minutes later we were finally able to go inside (that can happen). Once inside, we met Marc, who we thought was arrogant, and immediately stated that the house would definitely be sold for over 500,000 euros. The house was listed for 499,000 euros, so that was quite logical. In the kitchen, we immediately heard how fantastic the floor was, as if it could have come from a church, which alone was worth an Ikea kitchen. Furthermore, the kitchen itself was also approximately 30,000 euros and completely fantastic according to Marc. I understand wanting to price a house attractively, but this just went too far and over the top. We viewed the ground floor and garden, then we went upstairs. 'We could take a look at that ourselves'... In other words, Marc stayed downstairs. Nothing was told to us about the upper floor either. Once back downstairs, Marc was comfortably slumped in the chair and after mentioning several times that the house would definitely be sold for over 500,000 euros, we left the property astonished.. Where we initially had to wait 10-15 minutes to get inside, our viewing was quickly over. We hope the seller has been able to get a good price, possibly the catch was already in place. Because Van Gelre real estate agents will never ever sell a house for us.

Marc is, in our opinion, a top realtor! He is very experienced and gave us excellent advice that we would never have thought of ourselves. Furthermore, nothing is too much for him, he always responds very quickly and is particularly decisive. After the first phone call, I already knew it, Marc sounded very reliable and competent, and that has proven to be true. He is incredibly friendly and patient, and this also applies to the employees at his office. I can't think of a single point of criticism :). I have not had a good experience with real estate agent Marc Oortgiesen over the past 5 years. Agreements are not kept and he arrives late for viewings, causing potential buyers to wait. You have to chase everything yourself. When the house is eventually sold, the invoice is settled through the notary so that the realtor gets his money immediately. Arrangements with Susan van Beem are going well.
