We were lucky that Joshua was our real estate agent. He helped us find our dream apartment in Amsterdam. Firstly, he helped us set realistic expectations about what we could get with our budget. This way we knew which places to view and didn't waste time on places we couldn't afford. He also gave us access to the Move platform, allowing us to see which houses would appear on Funda the next day and book viewings earlier. Subsequently, he viewed the locations with us and advised us on the right amount to offer. What was particularly helpful is that he is also an appraiser (‘taxateur’). He can very well estimate what a place is worth. In short, without Joshua we would not have found our new home and would recommend him to everyone who wants to buy a property in Amsterdam! Finally, a thank you to his team members Anne and Hidde who intervened for Joshua a few times during the process and also delivered excellent work.
