Disappointing experience with appraisal by Edwin van Vilsteren My experience with Edwin van Vilsteren was utterly disappointing. In the appraisal report he prepared, it turned out that the living area of my home was not measured by him himself, but taken from a recently appraised home, not even our home! I find that very careless and not what you should expect from a professional appraiser. When I asked questions about this, the response I received was that the measurements were “correctly established” and “taken from a recently appraised home”. That does not demonstrate transparency or a critical, independent assessment. Exactly during an appraisal you expect that measurements are carefully taken and checked — not that numbers are carelessly copied over. In short: little care, no transparency and a defensive attitude when asked questions. For me, not a reliable experience. I would not recommend Edwin van Vilsteren for an appraisal {Wat grappig dat u geageerd met wederom een leugen, wij hebben elkaar nooit aan de telefoon gesproken! Een onlangs getaxeerde woning is nog steeds niet onze woning.}

(1) Too expensive due to a minimum fee of € 3000 (ex. VAT) + extra payment for Funda basic and extension. The viewings are also carried out by the park manager. (2) In the final settlement, the monthly advance payments for rentals through Landal are already deducted, and (hopefully) the repayment of rental income follows much later. Is there a conflict of interest between Landal Makelaardij and Landal Greenparks?
