Tom or Thom called me and made a threatening remark that he would come by because I posted something on social media questioning the reasonableness of the rent for one of his rental properties on Sportstraat in Amsterdam, based on an estimate of the maximum reasonable rent / Rent check. After I rejected him verbally, Thom said: 'I know where you live, let's go' and then hung up. Thom acted as if he knew nothing in the WhatsApp follow-up and made a homophobic comment, but when he realized that I had recorded the conversation, he became defensive and accused me of being rude on the phone. I cannot recommend doing business with this man. If you rent from him, check the rent on the website of the Huurcommissie.

Nienaber Weesp was my selling agent in the person of Arjan Herngreen. The property seemed to have been put on the market hastily without proper investigation. This created an unprofessional impression and caused a lot of discussion and frustration leading up to the delivery. For example, the number of m2 did not match, but was randomly taken from a previous sale, naturally to the disadvantage of the buyer, they were unaware of an old moisture problem, and it was not noticed that the central heating system was incomplete. The fact that every email from Arjan contained a shockingly high number of language and grammar errors also didn't help maintain trust. In short, a very disappointing experience.

Communication was smooth, even during the vacation period there were no problems. All in all (again) a pleasant experience with Nienaber.
