House seen in Kaatsheuvel. Making an appointment went well. But on the day of the viewing, we barely had time to walk quietly through the house; we wanted to walk through the house alone with the real estate agent after the viewing, but that wasn't possible. The real estate agent already had to leave. We had email contact about what our ideas were and asked if he wanted to discuss them with the current sellers, but that didn't work. The real estate agent himself said: 'Of course, that is far too low for the sellers.' I THINK they want to start talking from ... ton. Very strange that the real estate agent doesn't even try to present our plans to the sellers but instead says it’s too low and thinks the sellers only want to start talking from. Who is he to determine that for the sellers?!! Very bad service. That house will never be sold by that real estate agent.

Via te pas rents out an apartment rented in the center of Den Bosch. The first impression was immediately not pleasant. They take very little time for viewings and have an attitude of 'if you don't rent it, there are a hundred others'. When we had to move into the apartment on April 1st, it wasn't even ready yet. Several times builders still had to come to our home to complete various tasks. This during office hours while we both work. Not handy, therefore. Also, the network connections were not ready. During our stay in the apartment, there were several defects such as the dishwasher not functioning properly (leakage), extractor fan and even self-assemblers drilling through electrical wiring. After emailing about these defects, there was always a response but literally no one ever came to fix it. At one point, someone also tried to break into the exterior door, which we of course immediately reported to Via te Pas verhuurt. They said they would look into it but we received 0 response on this as well. The damage from the burglary is still visible on the exterior door. After renting for 2 years, we were able to buy our own little house. Time for the handover! We thoroughly cleaned the entire apartment. Of course, there are some signs of wear and tear after 2 years, which is logical. Now Via te Pas is of course sharp and they threaten with exceptional costs such as painters, cleaners etc. conclusion: Via te Pas is a typical rental agent who is not at home when there are defects but when you have to hand over they have a complete list of 'attention points'. Worthless.

Called 3 times for a house before it came on the market. They promise to call back but didn't do so... then I called them again while the house was also listed on Funda with the disappointing message that it was also sold.

There you stand… A baby boom and an apartment that has sustained significant fire damage to sell. You would have preferred to sell the property yesterday but you will have to make do with what you have. I decided to contact five real estate agents to see who I could best work with. Two were quite nice, one was only concerned with his own portfolio, and one stood out above the rest. I was called by Nick from Woonhub Real Estate and he knew how to sell his service excellently. Let’s be honest, that's what you want, of course. You want a real estate agent to be good at selling because your house also needs to be sold. Where other agents saw problems regarding the timeframe, restoration work, and selling a house with fire damage, Nick came up with solutions. For example, he suggested hiring a photographer who could create 3D models of what the damaged rooms would look like after restoration. He also didn’t mind receiving potential buyers in the apartment where work was still being done. In addition, Nick gave well-supported advice regarding determining the asking price of the house. He knew what was selling for how much nearby, he was aware of the housing market and media, and knew how to speculate what we could best do.
