Ons huurcontract is op 31-08-2023 beëindigd en we hebben onze borg nog steeds niet teruggekregen. Dit is in strijd met de gebruikelijke termijn voor het terugbetalen van de borg. Ik heb een officieel verzoek tot teruggave van de borg per e-mail en online verstuurd en zal binnen 15 dagen juridische stappen ondernemen als dit niet is opgelost.

Amsterhomes has withheld my deposit of 3300 euros and is no longer responding to my phone calls or emails. I now have to engage a lawyer because of them. Response to Amsterhomes: After the reviews here, at least three people have contacted me who have experienced the same thing with Amsterhomes. I have sent countless emails to get a response, but they have all remained unanswered. Let me repeat it again: although it has been more than two months, NO ONE HAS EVER CONTACTED ME, LET ALONE THAT THEY HAVE ANSWERED MY EMAILS. It is hardly a process to speak of. And when I myself contacted the landlord, it was clear that they had no idea what was going on. I have never heard an apology from them. Oh, I must also mention that, as far as I understand, you also have a cleaning company and therefore charge all residents for cleaning costs. Everything I have said can be proven with the emails. And thanks to these responses, I also heard from many others that you have done the same with them. So it is really a difficult situation.

Ik heb dit bureau ingeschakeld om vanuit het buitenland een huis te zoeken voordat ik naar Amsterdam verhuisde. De slechtste ervaring ooit. Ze maken misbruik van je situatie. Ik raad het af om hun diensten in te huren. Ze beweren dat ze op meerdere websites zoeken en dat ze "contacten" hebben om appartementen te vinden die niet op de grote websites staan. Dit is niet waar, ze zoeken alleen op Pararius. Sterker nog, ik heb zelf het appartement gevonden dat ik uiteindelijk heb gehuurd, omdat ze de websites niet zo vaak controleren. Ze hebben het appartement namens mij bezichtigd. Alles leek in orde totdat ik aankwam. Ze beloofden me dat de verhuurder een aantal spullen van de vorige huurders zou opruimen, maar toen ik het appartement binnenkwam, lagen ze er nog steeds. Bovendien hadden ze in het inspectierapport de meeste problemen van het huis niet vermeld, zoals de aanwezigheid van muizen. Het huis was volledig besmet (wat gemakkelijk te zien was als ze het kastje onder de gootsteen hadden opengedaan of in de hoeken van de keuken hadden gekeken). Ze vertelden me twee weken lang dat ze een schoonmaakservice en een matrashoes zouden regelen, maar niets daarvan is ooit geleverd. Als je klaagt over deze redelijke dingen, zeggen ze alleen maar dat ze "geschokt" zijn door je opmerkingen. De service die je krijgt, komt niet overeen met de prijs die je ervoor betaalt. Ik raad dit bureau NIET aan. Ze proberen alleen maar geld te verdienen met minimale inspanning.
