We stayed with our family (a total of 10 people) in Kievitenlaan 2 and had more than enough space for everyone. The location is fantastic and the landlord was very friendly and helpful, which made our stay generally pleasant. Unfortunately, this positive impression was significantly marred by the condition of the house. Overall, the accommodation appears rather outdated and was not very clean upon arrival. The photos show a few examples: dirty terrace tiles and garden furniture (some heavily soiled with bird droppings), stains on windows and blinds, and clear signs of wear and damage to the furnishings (e.g., broken fronts and improvised repairs in the kitchen). We were especially concerned about a light socket in the kitchen that became so hot it almost set the kitchen door on fire – this must absolutely be addressed. For a short stay, the house is still acceptable, especially due to its good location and the amount of space it offers. However, anyone who values cleanliness, safety, and a well-maintained property should not have too high expectations here.

We, or rather our family, have rented an accommodation from Van Acker on multiple occasions and were always satisfied. This review, however, is about our most recent stay. There were three problems with the apartment: the roller blind didn't work, the cover of the sunshade rattled loudly and could clearly be heard from inside, and the tap in the guest bathroom kept running constantly and couldn't be turned off. All these problems were reported on the first or second day. Unfortunately, none of the problems had been resolved when we left. This is disappointing, as we have experienced better service during our previous stays.

It would be great to only be able to rate the accommodation, since I only had contact with the local agent for two seconds, so I can't say much about them. The accommodation is intended for four people. We were there as a couple. I realize that the houses (garden houses) are all a bit older, but they are modernly equipped. However, they should regularly replace the sleeping facilities and mattresses, not just because they are worn out. For me, the environment was the only relaxing factor, but unfortunately not the sleep quality. I would not rent or recommend this accommodation again.

We have been booking holiday homes here for years with different families. The houses are very diverse, so there is something for everyone's tastes and every budget. The staff at the office are exceptionally friendly and helpful with every question, big or small. We always look forward to coming back.
