Ze beantwoordden geen telefoontjes of e-mails. Onze makelaar kon ze ook niet bereiken. Er was geen enkele duidelijkheid in het contract, de voorwaarden of wat dan ook. Ik zou absoluut niet met hen in zee gaan, of het nu gaat om kopen of verkopen, en raad iedereen ten zeerste af om met hen in zee te gaan.

Very pleasant party to work with

We had a lot of interest in the property in Eindhoven and actively discussed our offer. Our experience during the viewing was, however, very disappointing. The person showing the property gave little information, restricted our possibilities to properly view the space and generally gave us an unwelcome feeling. Unfortunately, the interaction left the impression of discriminatory behavior, which significantly influenced our perception of the property. It is better not to organize a viewing if you don't want the buyer to come view the property. This was the first time I experienced racism with a real estate agent.

My experience with realtor Alex was downright bad. During the first viewing, there was immediately an awkward atmosphere. Alex seemed uninterested, showed little enthusiasm for presenting the house to us and was regularly busy with his phone. Moreover, he hardly knew anything about the property. What surprised me most was that Alex didn't seem to make any effort to actually sell the house. You would expect a realtor to commit to achieving the best result for their clients, Alex did not. When we inquired during the viewing as to what was behind a closet and wanted to open it—something customary with a serious viewing—I was addressed in an unprofessional manner and even called ASOCIAL. This was particularly unpleasant and completely diverted attention from the house itself. We wanted to give the house another chance, because the first impression was completely overshadowed by the negative atmosphere that Alex gave to the property. During the second viewing, his attitude was somewhat better, but still his knowledge of the matter was limited. Remarkably, opening closets suddenly wasn't a problem anymore. Although we only dealt with Alex twice, this has left us, as potential buyers, with a very negative impression of Woonhub. We consciously gave the house a second chance, but again our attention was mainly determined by the behavior of the realtor. Based on this experience, I would not choose to sell my own home through him. He exudes little involvement and professionalism and does not seem to prioritize the seller's interests.

Makelaar was zeer onprofessioneel. Hij kende het huis dat hij ons probeerde te verkopen niet, of hij was er gewoon niet in geïnteresseerd. Het leek alsof het een bijbaantje van hem was. We ontdekten zelf dat er een warmtepomp in het huis zat… Het was erg moeilijk om een ​​tweede bezichtiging te regelen nadat ons bod was geaccepteerd. Very unprofessional. Never call back and cancel at the last moment the planned viewing appointment, while they say they have another appointment and speak rudely.

A real recommendation!

Unprofessional staff. I called on behalf of the school, which is naturally unpleasant for the person who answers the phone. But this lady didn't even have the decency to let me finish speaking or say anything back. I stated my name and the line was immediately disconnected. Exactly the same thing happened twice. I assumed that the telephone line wasn't working properly or that there was noise. This turned out not to be the case.

We sold the house, which was our main goal, period. I think there are better options in Eindhoven, especially if you want to get more for your house.

WARNING: DO NOT WORK WITH WOONHUB TOGETHER I will describe to you, based on an extensive case, why not. Woonhub is not affiliated with NVM and there's a reason for that. In the past year, I have dealt with Woonhub and am astonished by their way of operating. In March, I saw a fixer-upper for sale in Eindhoven. After viewing the property, I wanted to place my bid. The asking price was €325,000. When I wanted to submit my bid, I contacted Woonhub by phone; I wanted to offer €336,500 without a technical or financial reservation. It was a fixer-upper so there would always be more than €10,000 in defects found. Maarten from Woonhub insisted that I really needed to include a technical reservation, the selling party didn't know the house (family inheritance problems) and therefore didn’t know the condition of the house. Everyone would take a technical reservation and this would only serve so that if real major defects (cracks in building structures etc.) were to occur, you could withdraw from the purchase. I wouldn’t lose the property because of it. Unfortunately, my bid was not accepted; I was curious how much the property had been sold for in preparation for my future bidding process. Woonhub told me that the property had been sold for €305,000. I was naturally extremely surprised by this since my bid was €31,500 higher. Woonhub said that the selling party felt better about the buyer. This is quite striking considering we filled in an online bidding form. I contacted the selling party to inquire whether they were aware of my bid. They were aware of my bid but the selling party told me that they actually only had 1 bid. Woonhub had told the selling party that almost all bids included a technical reservation and that all these bids would expire since more than €10,000 in defects would be found. Except for 1 bid, which happened to be a friend's property flipper of Woonhub’s. During contact with the selling party, they indicated that they would actually prefer to sell the house to someone who wanted to live in it themselves, but they only had 1 bid. They wanted to get rid of the house as quickly as possible; they were dealing with a death in the family which caused much unrest and wanted to leave it at that. About 4 months later, I drove past the house and saw that nothing had happened yet, not even a cadastral change of ownership. I contacted the sellers again to see if the house had been sold and whether anything was still possible. The sale wasn’t going as hoped. The current buyer still had to sell a house through Woonhub (financial reservation). The seller indicated that he would still like to sell the house to me since I would take it without a financial reservation and he could put this unpleasant matter behind him as quickly as possible. He sent me the purchase agreement to see if there was any way out of it. I had this purchase agreement reviewed by a friend who is a real estate agent, and he called me back shocked. He had never seen such a ridiculous purchase agreement. The selling party, dealing with a bereavement, hired Woonhub to sell the house and therefore protect their interests. All Woonhub has done is protect their own interests – not getting the highest bid for the seller. No, all private buyers are directed towards a technical reservation. The friend's property flipper had a much lower bid submitted without a technical reservation, and the sellers were led to believe that all other bids would expire. It’s scandalous how you can scam people like this who are in a grieving situation, purely to be able to sell the property to a friendly property flipper so you can pocket brokerage fees again after renovation. Be careful, do not work with them. There are many good reliable NVM-affiliated real estate agents that you can happily cooperate with.

I met Alex, the owner of real estate agency Woonhub, and was impressed by his professionalism and dedication to providing quality service. Based on this, we decided to engage him as our representative for the sale of my home. However, when we officially started the sales process, his business partner, Marten, took over the representation – something I had never agreed to. From the beginning, the process went poorly. The property brochure contained multiple errors, despite us having provided all the correct documents. Also, the proposed selling price became a source of disagreement. Marten pushed for a significantly lower price than the property was worth, making it seem like he was only interested in a quick and easy sale rather than securing the best deal in a strong seller's market. Fortunately, my wife and I insisted on getting a higher price than Marten had recommended. Furthermore, the information on Funda was completely incorrect, despite us having provided the correct data. Simple but crucial details, such as the construction year, were wrong, which was extremely frustrating. Additionally, I work at a company where many employees are actively looking for a home, so I shared the advertisement internally. Six colleagues showed interest, but had trouble reaching Woonhub. Some were promised that they would be called back, but that never happened. Although I explicitly reserved a fixed number of viewings for my colleagues, these requests were handled unprofessionally. Those who did get a viewing complained about Marten's poor presentation – he refused to show important parts of the property, such as the storage area, the bicycle shed and the meter cabinet. The buyer who ultimately won the bid also expressed her disappointment. She found Marten unfriendly and insufficiently informed about the property. If her father hadn't advised her to ignore the poor presentation and focus on the property itself, she wouldn't have even made a bid. When I discussed these concerns with Alex and Marten, they completely dismissed the feedback. However, with so many complaints from my colleagues, the buyer and my own experience, it is clear that Woonhub shows a lack of quality and professionalism. As if that wasn't enough, Alex did show up on the day of the handover, but he didn't even bring a small festive gesture – such as a bottle of champagne – not for me, but for the buyer, who was buying her first house. Instead, Alex claimed he would rather send a personalized chocolate house than the traditional champagne. Months later, neither the buyer nor I received anything. Another example of their inconsistency. In the end, I feel sorry for Alex, who has a terrible business partner, but I am also disappointed in him for promising to be my representative and then handing me over to someone else. The entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. Terrible representation, poor quality of work – absolutely NOT recommended!

Terrible... not a good word for it. Communication and keeping simple appointments are nowhere to be found.

At the beginning I had a video call with Woonhub where I described my budget and preferences (requirements). The employee said confidently that they would find a suitable house for me within two months and that they would go with me. I believed him and signed the contract. Unfortunately, they NEVER looked for a house within my budget and they NEVER showed up when I viewed a house. Very unprofessional and disappointing. After a few months I found a house myself and went on my own. Honestly, they did help with the paperwork and maybe some negotiations. Therefore I give two stars instead of one.

At first he was very informative, and friendly when we were visiting the house. Luckily we got the house, but his attitude went down hill from then on. He did not inform us until the evening before the inspection that the previous owners was tested corona positive. Which was obviously too late to reschedule as the notary couldn't be informed and impossible to reschedule. So we had to had our inspection of the house early in the morning. He was not cooperative at all, and was not helpful during the inspection. We inspected the house ourselves and when it came down to signing papers, we wanted to write down some unclarified problems to the house, but it was roughly handled by saying that the previous owners will contact us, which never was the case. The Estate agent signed on behalf of the previous owners and therefore should fulfill the duties that the previous owners holds, which he also failed to do so. When we were moving in, weird things began to happen. A random defect television from the previous owner was dumped in front of my front door without any notice, we contacted the agent, but was handled carelessly. Questions arose about the electronics such as the camera where we need to have a passcode to access. But neither of them was helping us, contacted them both but the blame got shifted to one another. I was contemplating whether I should write this review, but honestly I think that people should be aware and look out for some of the estate agent here because this one is ill-advised.

5 stars for all the help. They were very friendly during the process and always available for advice, discussions and meetings. I will definitely recommend them.

Never have we encountered such a great realtor. We could always turn to Maarten from Woonhub with all our questions and no question was too much! Bad information, works with the seller to rip you off. Signed early March and the broker said that if there are questions/defects you can ask the seller. The seller didn't want to cooperate and supposedly the broker would follow up, never happened and then ignored our messages and phone calls. After posting a bad review, I (daughter of the buyer) was called 3 times by the broker and told to ask my father to remove the bad review, while I am sick in bed with Corona, which I probably contracted during the signing at the house, apparently the seller's entire family had corona and that wasn’t informed to us until the night before, all doors and windows were of course closed because the broker also arrived 10 minutes late. The seller also dumped his old TV in front of our house in the meantime.

In January, Maarten from Woonhub Makelaars sold our house in Best. We are particularly satisfied with both the professional and personal approach. We felt taken care of from A to Z. Our house was sold quickly and well because there was a very thorough preparation plan and all matters were addressed in the post-sale process as well.
