Last week there was a viewing scheduled. When we arrived at the house, there was still no real estate agent in sight. We stood waiting until a car arrived. This seemed to be the real estate agent, but he was still busy on the phone and made us wait again. When we got out, he said 'oh you're already here'. No excuses because he was late or anything like that. The viewing went on well afterwards. Because my husband couldn't come, there was a second viewing scheduled for today. An hour before the appointment we were called and asked if we could come a bit later, because there were still people before us. Fine, we came a bit later. When we arrived the other viewers were still there, and when they walked towards the car we got out and walked towards the real estate agent. He turned around without recognizing us, and started to phone again. We found this very peculiar. Because I had already viewed the house, I knew what I wanted my husband to see on the outside of the house, so we decided to take a walk around ourselves. When we came back, the real estate agent was still on the phone, with his back to us. Because my husband wasn't very happy about a number of things on the outside of the house, we decided that we could leave. The real estate agent still had no attention for us, so we got into the car and went home again. I called the office from the car to report what had happened, and why we therefore left. I know that there are enough viewers for a house, but you just don't treat potential buyers like this. I'm really disappointed in this real estate agent, and find it just disrespectful how he treated us.
