This is the most rude and least customer-friendly brokerage experience we have ever had, and we have been looking for a house for 2 years already. During the viewing, Petra sat back and we were allowed to view the house ourselves. She was very distant and only answered questions that we asked. The day all bids would be in was the day contact would be made with us. That of course did not happen, which is why I had to call myself. Petra was then incredibly rude, and said “I will contact you”. When I asked if she might know when this would be, the answer was “I don’t know, it could be a week because I still have to discuss with the sellers”. LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER (!!!) I received a call from Petra saying that our bid had not been accepted. When I asked if we could negotiate, the answer was laughingly “no, the house has already been sold”. A bit strange, since Petra indicated the day before that she had not yet discussed with the sellers. All in all, a brokerage with a smell about it. An absolute no-go! Especially Petra van Werkhoven, appalling treatment of customers, especially in this market! Do not enter into an agreement with this gloomy group.

DISRESPECTFUL PETRA! Last Tuesday I called out of interest for a property. I was immediately treated disrespectfully. It was eight o'clock in the morning and that lady thought it too early. The lady had just finished a night shift and asked me on which continent I would live. Sorry madam, next time you are better off not answering, than answering. Do continue like this, you will soon meet your match. Your unpleasant attitude will be discussed more often in the reviews. Do something about it! But my goodness, it won't be due to the lady.

Real estate agency van Werkhoven sold our house within a week. Petra is enthusiastic, expert and to-the-point. The communication about the bidding process could have been clearer. We consider directness and speed to be the strong points of this real estate agency. We are satisfied with how the entire process went!

Ze heeft alles geregeld. Ik heb alleen een handtekening gezet voor de verkoop. Ik heb haar de opdracht gegeven vanwege de de bekendheid met appartementen in Twente. Ze kent de markt uitstekend en ze is zeer representatief.

Vanaf het begin slechte communicatie, kopers die de makelaar stug en onprofessioneel vonden( de kopers van ons huis vertelden zelfs dat wij als verkoper op de open dag ons huis beter hadden gepromoot). Stickers van te laat kregen we via de post en moesten we zelf plakken.

Ontzettend fijne makelaar die realistische verwachtingen geeft en deze ook weet te realiseren. Ze kan heel goed tactisch onderhandelen en strategie uitzetten. En dat weet ze waar te maken.

As the purchasing party, I experienced the contact as pleasant. Transparent, clear communication and Petra was always quickly available! I always knew exactly where I stood and am now almost formally the owner of a beautiful home. :-)

Communication regarding the house purchase was strange; if you followed up by phone, the responses were short, with little explanation, as if they didn't take my interest in the house seriously. The moment my offer was rejected, the house had already been sold. I was prepared to bid higher or enter into negotiations. But that wasn’t on the table; it was day and it went. I would not recommend this real estate agent, and certainly won’t be selling my house through them in the future. A dishonest game was played here.

Very bad experience with this real estate agent, they are not aware of the defects in the homes they sell. Thanks to Petra from Werkhoven, I have lost more than 12,000 euros. It was only when a legal procedure was started that someone could suddenly be sent to look at it on their terms, no consultation possible for other times, you just have to take another day off then, only during working hours, impossible for working people. But contacting them yourself and acknowledging mistakes is out of the question. No good words about this real estate agent! Scandalous practices, especially in these times! Sellers will be happy indeed but please pay very close attention if you buy from this real estate agent! Nice talk where not a single bit is true! I don't wish anyone the misery they brought me! And Mrs. van Werkhoven, you have my number, it would become you to still contact me as I repeatedly requested, but instead you prefer to extort money from people who have to work hard for it and are unable to conduct honest business.

So, I came back from a cold fair when I contacted them this morning to inquire about an apartment. Frankly ridiculous how Petra spoke to me. Going into details seems unnecessary to me, because the other reviews on Google speak volumes. I hope that the investors' club that uses this office scratches its head a few times and then takes the hare's path, because if this is the party that represents you, I certainly can’t take them seriously.

Constant complaining. It takes a long time to arrange anything. And trying, after a long time, to still send an invoice that is unjustified. They don't have things in order. They don't have the administration in order. Very disappointing. And I hear this from many more people who rent with vwerkhoven.

Very pleasant and professional contact with Petra from Werkhoven during the purchase of our home! Petra acts quickly, friendly, and accurately. In addition, it's very nice that she is so easily accessible and willing to help and think along! We will definitely recommend Werkhoven real estate!

Very pleasant woman to do business with. We bought a house through her in 2017, which we have now sold again, also through Petra, that was our conscious choice. Poor communication and a lot of friends' politics... as a brokerage firm, you should be professional and act fairly. Absolutely not recommended to do business with this company! Be careful with brokers like this, house hunters!

I don't really understand the negative reviews because we had an absolutely TOP experience with this real estate agent and in particular Petra. She took my deceased mother’s house for sale and sold it within a short time at a great price. We are very satisfied with the way things were done and the further handling of the sale. We therefore advise everyone to definitely do business with this real estate agent. Success guaranteed!!! Thank you, Petra, for everything.

The viewing of the property with Petra van Werkhoven was very professional but also informal, which we personally found very pleasant. She clearly stated how and when the bid had to be in (on paper), to give everyone a fair chance. In short; clear, professional, cozy and pleasant real estate agency!

Being able to buy a home in Hengelo through Van Werkhoven Makelaars. The viewings were professionally organized and they were well informed about all matters involved in and around the property. Communication regarding the part of making an offer on the property was clear, and they handled finding the best bid fairly. In our opinion, she really looked at what was best for the seller. Overall, we had very pleasant conversations with them. The conversations felt confidential and friendly, exactly what you look for in a real estate agent. Therefore, Van Werkhoven is truly recommended.

As far as we're concerned, excellent! Petra was the selling broker of the house that we bought this summer. In the purchasing process, we particularly appreciated the clarity regarding submitting the offer and handling the purchase. Petra really thought along with us from the very beginning and informed us well about the area, the situation on the housing market etc. Petra and her colleague Laura were always easily accessible by phone and email. When we wanted to move forward the delivery date, cooperation was immediately provided and an final inspection was scheduled on (very) short notice. We experienced Petra as a charming, kind and enthusiastic woman with expertise. I rate her communication skills (because they couldn't be higher) as very good. Clarity is very pleasant when selling your house. She doesn't promise things she can't deliver. The valuation was realistic, however she was open to our 'response' and that is what makes Van Werkhoven stand out in East Netherlands. The 'straightforward' approach isn't for every Twente resident. To end with a wink: if I now tell you that it will be sunny in Twente for 365 days next year, you won’t believe in miracles either ;-) What shouldn't be forgotten in this text is that the contact with the back office (Laura) has no critical notes whatsoever. Heartfelt thanks to Petra van Werkhoven for all her efforts and successful sale of my property, Zonstraat 50! Good advice on how to make the property more attractive, clear agreements and communication, proper handling and guidance during the sale. And all that for a very fair price!

Visited to register, but that didn't work with the site. The possibility of getting a rental property in the private sector was rejected from the start. No thought was given to (any possible) other options.

Sober but pleasant tour, adequate handling. Pleasant and honest.

In one word: terrible! We rented for a long time through van Werkhoven and the way we were treated, I wouldn't wish on anyone. This broker refuses to do anything about maintenance and doesn't keep her appointments. Damp penetration, leaks, and mold problems... it means nothing to van Werkhoven as long as they can make money. Truly scandalous.

Scandalous money wolves. They are not interested in service or customer satisfaction. 95% of the contact came from us, we had to constantly ask for information and updates. And then suddenly our contact person was no longer employed! Without handover! The complaint we submitted they also did not take seriously at all. We will escalate this further. I do not recommend Van Werkhoven.

Complete lack of any form of respect towards customers. Refuses to speak to you on the phone, because they say they are 'too big' for that (read: they feel too big for that..). As a result, everything must be done by email. Fortunately, this is useful for our legal expenses insurance, as it clearly shows how Van Werkhoven contradicts himself repeatedly. The property was reportedly handed over correctly after termination of the lease according to one employee, however Van Werkhoven refuses to return the deposit and even denies that a deposit was paid at all, while this is stipulated in the rental agreement. Luckily we had good legal expenses insurance, otherwise we would have been whistling for the deposit.

I am fully satisfied with how Van Werkhoven first sold my house and secondly sold the house where I will live with my partner to us. Petra van Werkhoven did this with great dedication and clear communication.

If I could give it a 0, that would be my score. It doesn't seem right that employees of a company try to boost Google reviews, but those are exactly the actions you can expect from this farce of a brokerage firm. Unprofessional, difficult to contact, and coincidentally, the person you need is never available. Go do something else than making yourself look ridiculous.

Van Werkhoven uses various sales packages that clearly describe which services are offered and at what price. Clarity beforehand and no 'noise' on the line. Agreements regarding photographer and measurements were quickly made. Petra responds promptly to phone calls and email. She takes her time, is tactful and patient (saleswoman is 89 years old). Until the completion, we were guided hand-in-hand. In short, highly recommended!

Very very bad!! No good service!! The property was available for rent and then not. It was said the landlord has chosen something else, so that property shouldn't be online anymore or should it? If possible, I want to rate with zero stars. Bad bad!!!
