Terrible company that left our house dirty and disgusting and then charged cleaning costs after we moved out, while we left it cleaner than how we found it. The wifi in the property was bad and nothing was done about it after repeatedly asking for improvement.

Since my rental property was sold and now managed by Tweelwonen, there's been nothing but trouble. I rent my home based on an inclusive contract. Now that Tweel can’t pass on the increased costs to the tenants in the building, they have decided to turn off the thermostat during the day. To the question of how this will work in winter when temperatures really drop, you simply get no answer because it apparently takes too much effort. Everything disappears behind locked doors and the only thing Tweelwonen is good at is sending admonishing Emails with rules and restrictions. DO NOT RENT FROM TWEEL.

Poor communication. 'Forgets' to notify you of your rejection as a tenant via email, requiring me to call myself. Then talks over me and calls me a liar, and reacts indignantly when that provokes an emotional reaction.

Unreachable, no response despite repeated reporting of a leak and broken dishwasher. Got deposit back only after countless calls and far too late. Don't do business with them.

Houses are listed for rent, but try getting in touch with anyone. Because they're unreachable! There are two phone numbers, one of which is a dead line and the 06 number is disconnected, ultimately no answer. We have tried everything to get in contact but it’s impossible. Also called the Hague and Utrecht real estate agents listed on their site. But they know nothing about it.

Trap niet in deze valkuil - dit zijn criminelen die je borg niet terugbetalen na afloop van een contract en alle herinneringen en pogingen om contact op te nemen negeren. Ze reageerden ook grotendeels niet toen we een appartement bij hen huurden. Vermijd dit!

If I could, I would give -1 star. They don't respond to emails, don't call, don't show up for appointments, and the girl who showed us the house said things we already knew, or just things that weren't true about the property. We wanted to go directly to their office, but it was closed on Friday. I have no words for this realtor, just don't do business with them!! It’s a waste of time.

The previous reviews didn't predict much good either. My experience is that Easy Makelaars is unreachable: not via email, not via Pararius, and not by phone. If you respond via Pararius, you immediately receive a standard email with an invitation for a viewing. But if you have any questions about that: no response. It's a shame that many properties are available for rent through Easy. I'm skipping Easy.

They invited people for a group viewing and didn't show up. Another potential tenant and I waited 30 minutes before going home.

**** UPDATE: For all (former) tenants, there is most likely incorrectly the monthly service costs cashed via easymakelaars. If you contact huurdokters.nl they will arrange that you get a large part back. Easy makelaars will not return this themselves. **** Myself a tenant for several years. This is the perfect example of a real estate agent who only thinks about filling his own pockets and nothing at all about the well-being of the tenants. Promises are not kept and there is no transparency. For the reader who wants to consider renting here, do not unless: -You don't mind that no maintenance will ever be performed on the property. -You want to incorrectly pay up to 80% too much in service costs, which will again never be settled with you. -You like not being taken seriously by the real estate agent who rents the house to you. -You are at peace with the fact that when there are defects and this is reported nothing but absolutely nothing will be done by the landlord. -You also don't mind that the landlord will not keep any agreements made. If you have no problem with this, I would definitely do it!!

Had a lovely viewing, where we were told that we were the only candidates for the apartment. We were completely naive and happy, especially when we were called to say that we had also been chosen! Subsequently, we received a phone call saying that we weren't selected after all. We did find it remarkable and just to be sure, we called back, after which we were rudely told that it really had been rented out to someone else. A month later, we happened to walk past the apartment in question, where another 'for rent' sign was hanging up again. Quite remarkable.

Never respond to emails.

What terrible customer service you offer. You should be ashamed of yourselves. My friend called to inquire about a rental property in which we were very interested. During the phone call, my friend indicated that we had attended multiple viewings. At this point, the fake jerk on the other end of the line pointed out to us that you 'don't have it to choose from' at this time and that we should be happy if we could rent anywhere. The reason we are viewing multiple houses is because it is indeed difficult to get a house. We like to register for multiple options, because the chance of getting a property is very low. Thanks to this employee, we were never allowed to view the house or be considered for it. This is simply the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. The only reason you are even in business is because there is so ridiculously high demand for houses. As soon as that decreases, you will have to rely on your customer service and then I hope you go bankrupt very quickly. Outright scandalous.

Gemakkelijke makelaars = je bent snel blut. Het enige "gemakkelijke" aan dit bureau is hoe makkelijk ze excuses vinden om je geld af te troggelen. Als je besluit om via hen een woning te huren, zorg er dan voor dat je foto's maakt van de kleinste gebreken en details van de woning zodra je erin trekt, want ze laten je flink betalen voor de kleinste dingen, zelfs als die er al waren.

Ik heb een fantastische ervaring gehad met Easy Brokers. Ik had een paar maanden moeite met het vinden van een huis en kreeg alleen maar negatieve reacties op de bezichtigingen die ik bijwoonde. Ik heb Easy Brokers om hulp gevraagd en zij waren de enige makelaars die mijn zaak serieus namen. Carlo is zo behulpzaam en deed zijn uiterste best om de beste oplossing te vinden. Een paar dagen na onze afspraak vond ik eindelijk de studio die perfect bij me paste. Ik zou ze zeker aanbevelen.

Correct communication via their website as well as by phone, with punctual appointments, both at the start of the rental and upon termination of the lease agreement and handover. However, Xpat Xpert defends ONLY the interests of the landlord (landlord). Despite a perfectly cleaned apartment upon handover, confirmed by photos and a signed handover statement (signed by an employee of Xpat Xpert), part of the deposit was withheld. Xpat Xpert has not heard anything more about this matter. Complete radio silence despite repeated requests for clarification as to the reason for this, as well as their support for the tenant, given the signed handover statement. Still a disappointing end to the rental agreement!

Some time ago I was invited for a viewing. For this, I traveled to Leiden, sent all my documentation, and was greeted kindly. Unfortunately, after that, I never heard anything more. I repeatedly tried to make contact, both by email and telephone, but I was never answered. I find this a very unsocial situation; I invest effort, time and money in the procedure only to hear nothing!

I feel very reassured, because if I have a problem with the house that I rent, I can call the team and they will help me immediately or give suggestions as to what I should do. This is very important as an expat.

Everything went smoothly, except when checking out of an apartment. The intermediary could not explain to me why I did not receive the full deposit back. To prevent problems, make sure you have a signed agreement during the final inspection of the apartment about what needs to be repaired/cleaned before handing over the keys.

Xpat has been renting out my apartment for years. Despite the turnover of tenants not being so frequent, I am very satisfied with the service.

Another agency charging the infamous 'administrative costs' to tenants who found the property advertisement themselves on the expat expert website. Someone who can sleep well at night even after robbing expats blind during the day has a very flawed character. Avoid this at all costs, or simply refuse to pay the administrative costs!
