Poor information about costs by a real estate agent who helped little to none and then my starter-daughter after long searching found a house (with help of a completely different real estate agent because other municipality) and she after 3 months no contact suddenly received an invoice of €700 and after protest this was suddenly lowered to €350 with a threat that 'otherwise work would be made of it'. So no style this.

Carefully consider before entering into a partnership with this real estate agency. Our experience was utterly disappointing: months of no contact, minimal guidance, and ultimately unexpected high costs, without clear explanations or signed agreements. Transparency and professionalism were nowhere to be found.

Disappointing experience with real estate agent Makelaar Kennemerpoort Heemstede, Mr. Robin Reimert. Today I had a viewing for the property at Papentorenvest 32a in Haarlem. I came with serious interest and arrived a quarter of an hour early. After ringing the bell, no one opened the door, so I walked around a bit. After about 10 minutes, I saw a man standing in the doorway looking at me without saying anything. When I asked if he was the real estate agent, he confirmed that. I mentioned that I had already rung the bell and asked why he hadn't opened the door. His response was: 'I was busy with other people.' Understandable, but a simple message or a door slightly ajar could have prevented much confusion. When I pointed that out, I received the response: 'Are you from Amsterdam?' A comment that I found unnecessary and condescending. When I said, “The tone is set,” he replied: “You set the tone.” I felt completely unwelcome and had a strong feeling that this property did not need to be sold to me. His attitude came across as arrogant and not customer-oriented. In this tight housing market, you expect to be treated professionally and respectfully as a serious buyer. Unfortunately, that was absolutely not the case during this viewing. A missed opportunity.
