By sheer coincidence, I ended up with Jonkers Vastgoed, but I immediately got a very good feeling about Daniel. Besides the standard reasons why I would choose a real estate agent, such as well-founded advice, sharp negotiation, and taking care of administrative hassle, the personal attention of a small agency stood out above all else. Much more important to me than the reputation of a large agency. You don't do a sales process every day, and it’s nice if someone is always available and can give you confidence with a thoughtful approach when you face surprises, such as the coronavirus crisis after we had just set everything in motion. Among other things, based on Daniel’s advice, we decided to continue anyway, which turned out to be no wrong choice afterwards. Ultimately, the purchase came about at an accelerated pace above expectations on a Friday evening late into the night, when most real estate agents have already switched on their voicemail. Tenants and landlords: avoid this broker. Our experience with this rental broker was frankly disappointing. Appointments are not kept, communication is flawed to non-existent. When he also got angry during the handover because we had been in contact with the landlords (they hadn't heard anything from him either and asked us), because they didn’t hear anything from the broker, it was time for this review. The biggest problem is his attitude: much talking, little doing. He comes across as friendly, but repeatedly lets slip. An overview of how things went: • During the viewing, he arrived late and forgot to show a room. Not a warm welcome then. • When signing the rental contract, he arrived half an hour late. Both we and the landlords had to wait. He even completely forgot a previous appointment. • For a viewing of new tenants, he didn’t respond for a long time. Eventually, they suddenly stood at the door while we only indicated which days worked out. Nothing was agreed upon. The broker arrived, as has now become customary, late again. Coincidentally, I was home, otherwise strangers would have walked through our house. He later apologized, which we accepted at the time. • Later it turned out that the landlords also could no longer get in touch with him. When they approached us, we explained what had happened. • During the final handover (again late), he got angry because we were open with the landlords about the lack of communication. In short: if you are looking for a broker who is always late, forgets appointments, acts unprofessionally and mainly talks but does little, then this is your man. If not: please look elsewhere. P.S. In response to his reaction, we may not have been direct clients (are the landlords only?), but we were definitely tenants and often had dealings with him.

Superhulp bij de aankoop van mijn eerste woning. Na eerst zelf een aantal keer te hebben geprobeerd een passend bod te doen, Dion ingeschakeld en het was gelijk raak!!

Ons eerste huis gekocht via Huus makelaars. We hadden weinig kennis van zaken, Dion heeft het hele proces voor ons aanzienlijk overzichtelijker gemaakt en daarmee meer ontspannen. Goed bereikbaar, vriendelijk, transparant en geduldig! Absoluut aan te raden.

Ondanks het lastige nieuws dat de VvE-bijdrage verhoogd werd naar €600 per maand, is het toch gelukt om mijn woning voor een goede prijs te verkopen. Zowel de plus- als minpunten zijn transparant gecommuniceerd richting potentiële kopers, waardoor de verkoop soepel verliep en er geen terugtrekkende bieders waren.
