From the beginning, I made my serious interest clear in both the ground floor and the upstairs apartment, after the real estate agent himself indicated that these could possibly be bought together. I then made an offer on the ground floor and was waiting for a viewing of the upstairs apartment. The broker who took over our property visited for the first time on the day of sale, without any attention to the buyer or us as sellers, did not accompany us to the notary, and the 'for sale' sign was still in the garden a month later, which we had to follow up on ourselves.

25 Nov 2025The worst real estate agent I've ever visited. I've never had such an unpleasant conversation. For 30 minutes, I only heard how bad all the other advisors are and how good they are. I tried to make the conversation as objective as possible, but that was almost impossible. Very unprofessional.

Een klant benaderde ons kantoor. Hij vergeleek ons al vanaf het begin met andere makelaars en vroeg naar de verschillen tussen ons aanbod en dat van onze concurrenten. Uit het gesprek bleek duidelijk dat de klant eerder met andere makelaars had overlegd en zich tijdens het gesprek gedroeg als iemand die er meer verstand van had dan wij. Hij probeerde het team de les te lezen, ondanks de 22 jaar ervaring van ons kantoor in de markt. Daarom informeerde ik de klant beleefd maar resoluut dat een vertrouwensrelatie cruciaal is voor een effectieve samenwerking. Als de klant dacht dat hij meer kennis van makelaardij had, stelde ik voor dat hij een ander makelaarskantoor zou overwegen of de zaken zelf zou afhandelen. In zo'n geval zouden we niet het verwachte serviceniveau kunnen bieden. De klant reageerde agressief, maakte beledigende opmerkingen en verliet het kantoor.
