🪄“Double on Funda, half work in service…” 👉🏻 Ovida Real Estate Venlo – born from the merger of Burgstate and Boek & Offermans – seemed like a good step on paper. In practice, it mainly caused confusion for us. Because of the merger, properties on Funda suddenly appeared double or even as “new listings”. Result: an apartment for which we had already done a technical inspection (and where, according to the seller, there was little interest) suddenly became “hot” again. 🔥 🫣 Chance? Maybe. Helpful? Definitely not for buyers. ❌What's also noticeable: when selling apartments, Ovida apparently doesn't put their most experienced real estate agents in charge. Reasoning seems to be: “they would sell themselves.” And that's obviously true. In the current market, there is always a buyer who doesn't take his due diligence obligation or the real estate agent's disclosure obligation too seriously. 🤫 With us, it remained strikingly quiet in terms of answers and all apartments were “from the rental” and therefore questionnaires were not or barely filled out. Why not just ask the former tenant to check? 🤔 Spoiler: for what you don't know, you can't be held liable. ⏰ Answers remained absent, documents made us wait and in the meantime time is ticking away. 😱 For buyers who want to do serious research and prepare a good offer, this is simply difficult work. Transparency and speed are not a luxury in this market, but a necessity. 💫 In short: Ovida Real Estate Venlo has potential, but really needs to take steps in communication, file management and the serious guidance of buyers. 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗫𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗻, 𝗺𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘄𝗲𝗻 𝗫𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘁. 🙏🏻Luckily, we have since found the perfect apartment with another real estate agent. Was this review useful to you? Jammer om te lezen dat u dit zo heeft ervaren, want bij OVIDA streven wij juist naar maximale transparantie, duidelijke communicatie en een dienstverlening die past bij een 5-sterren ervaring voor zowel verkopers als kopers. Het klopt inderdaad dat er rondom de overgang/fusie tijdelijk een dubbele vermelding op Funda zichtbaar is geweest. Dit was een technische en onvermijdelijke samenloop van omstandigheden tijdens de migratie van systemen en was nadrukkelijk niet bedoeld om een vertekend beeld te creëren. Dit hebben wij ook toegelicht. Wij staan er altijd voor open om zaken toe te lichten en van feedback te leren en komen daarom ook graag rechtstreeks in contact met de schrijfster van deze review om ons verhaal persoonlijk toe te lichten. Mogelijk werpt dat een ander licht op de ontstane situatie. Bij OVIDA werken wij iedere dag hard om onze dienstverlening verder te verbeteren en het maximale resultaat voor onze opdrachtgevers én een correcte begeleiding voor kopers te realiseren. Feedback nemen wij serieus, omdat wij geloven dat kwaliteit en vertrouwen uiteindelijk altijd het verschil zal maken.

I would really not recommend Gijs Wolters as a real estate agent to anyone. I feel very taken advantage of by his way of doing business. It seems that he considers parties more important than his clients. Even if there are open accounts due to his actions, he tries to shift the blame to the wrong party. Worthless.
Our sales broker was excellent, expertly marketed and sold our property. Unfortunately, he switched employers just before the transfer date, and some corners were cut as a result. The broker who took over our property visited for the first time on the day of sale, without any attention to the buyer or us as sellers, did not accompany us to the notary, and the 'for sale' sign was still in the garden a month later, which we had to follow up on ourselves.

From the start, we are happy with the choice of #Kevin Achten from Boek and Offermans. Although our house (actually 2 houses) was not one in a million, it sold very quickly, actually within 1 week.
