Whether you are a seller or buyer, do not go near this company. I sold an apartment with Beeuwkes as the real estate agent. They created a property list suggesting that there was a roof terrace included, which was not the case, and lied during viewings. As a result, what I sold and what the buyer thought they were buying were not the same. More than a year later, both the buyer and I have incurred significant legal costs. Fred from Beeuwkes initially admitted the mistake and assured me that they would contact their insurance company. Now I notice that I have a legal battle between myself and the insurance company, which denies everything. The incident has cost me all the profit I made from owning the apartment for more than twenty years. The insurance company offered me compensation of € 20,000,-, which does not even cover my legal costs. I have a lawsuit pending. The buyer has also incurred significant costs and still doesn't have what he thought he had purchased. This company lies to both buyers and sellers to turn properties over and grab commission. Very unprofessional conduct from the real estate agent. We went to view a house and the agent indicated that we could calmly consider it over the weekend, as Monday afternoon was the deadline for submitting a bid. So we submitted the offer on the weekend, only to receive notification that the house had already been sold. We were later called by the agent who apologized nicely and provided an explanation. Tip: stick to the process.

We recently rented out our apartment through InterHouse. It was a complicated matter for us because we were two non-Dutch expats temporarily renting out a property while we were abroad, but Jens and his team at InterHouse could clearly explain the process and work with us on all the administrative tasks that were needed. Visited the offered property in May 2021, right in the middle of the corona pandemic. There were two real estate agents and certainly 6 viewing interested parties in the apartment. Whether I wanted to come inside too. That wasn't the agreement. Good information and a one-on-one conversation without competition was not possible. They are not affiliated with NVM or anything else, although the girl on the phone claimed they were. That is allowed because a real estate agent is an unprotected profession but be honest. I have never experienced this with any other realtor in The Hague or Delft. Always 10 minutes of private viewing and conversation.

Leon was the only 'verkoopmakelaar' from our selection to pass our 'testvragen'. Other brokers were more in the role of a buyer's agent while we specifically want a sales broker.
