Visited the offered property in May 2021, right in the middle of the corona pandemic. There were two real estate agents and certainly 6 viewing interested parties in the apartment. Whether I wanted to come inside too. That wasn't the agreement. Good information and a one-on-one conversation without competition was not possible. They are not affiliated with NVM or anything else, although the girl on the phone claimed they were. That is allowed because a real estate agent is an unprotected profession but be honest. I have never experienced this with any other realtor in The Hague or Delft. Always 10 minutes of private viewing and conversation.

Leon was the only 'verkoopmakelaar' from our selection to pass our 'testvragen'. Other brokers were more in the role of a buyer's agent while we explicitly wanted a sales broker. Thanks to Leon and his colleague Taha, we managed to sell our apartment for a reasonably good amount, in a competitive sales market on the same street. We are happy with the sale and sincerely thank Leon, Taha and the rest of 88 Makelaars for their skills and expertise!

In March this year, 2023, I bought a house through Van Paaschen Real Estate Agency. I experienced the entire process as pleasant and professional. The communication with Jeroen, director and realtor, was excellent. Jeroen doesn't tell nonsensical sales pitches but works concisely. The office is also easily accessible for practical questions. Olfien always greeted me kindly.

To be honest, I found the agents quite rude. I wanted to view a house they had for sale. They gave me a few dates, but those didn't fit my schedule. The realtor said sarcastically...well, the house isn't being sold off... which means the owners weren't desperate. I offered a few dates, but they didn't match theirs. Eventually, a date was found, but quite far in the future. The agent sighed. Then I asked if I could get the general documents for the property. The realtor said that only serious buyers would get those if they visited the house. This is very unusual. I have never gone to a viewing without first collecting the documents. I thought about this interaction for a few days and then cancelled the viewing. I wish the owners success!
