Terrible

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. A complete scam, do not rent from them unless you want to wait months without a response while your washing machine leaks into the apartment below you. We also had to sit for weeks without a working toilet and after many emails were sent to this company, we had to involve a lawyer to help us. I would absolutely NOT recommend renting from them, these are just two examples of many terrible experiences. If I could give 0/5, I would.

As everyone knows, it is very difficult to get housing these days. But thanks to “Rent a stone,” a large stress factor fell from my shoulders. From the moment of contacting them, everything went quickly, from stating my expectations to viewings of different homes. And before I knew it, there was the house that felt right!! The service from Rent a Stone was absolutely excellent. All documents were signed quickly and the apartment was delivered in very good condition. Some minor defects were also resolved very quickly, and the realtor was very friendly.

One star is too much. They rent out houses for Cornerstone, which has a rating too low to rent anything, so they set up this agency (first check the ratings of Cornerstone). They will do their utmost to hide this. Moreover, they will have you sign a preliminary contract (which is likely illegal, but they have a legal team and you don't) and then they will change the deal and force you to sign it by literally threatening you with that contract. This cost me a lot of money, but it probably would have cost me even more if I had gone ahead. They are also very nice, until you sign and then they are incredibly rude and threatening. I've never been spoken to like that by anyone. In short: do NOT deal with them unless you are really desperate.

A very pleasant experience! Both Raymond and Salar gave us a familiar feeling from the start. Last year, I was extremely well assisted by Rits when purchasing my house. Thanks to his help, I was able to smoothly navigate the entire process.

Our experience with Sander from WoonCompany was enormously frustrating. We felt pressured to accept large jobs with little notice period and unclear communication. We received an email stating that our heating would be switched off if we did not respond immediately, forcing us to agree. Throughout the entire process, we struggled to get clear answers, and when problems arose afterwards, we suddenly heard that WoonCompany had nothing to do with it - despite all communication via their email. We do not appreciate these business tactics and would never rent through them again.

Bad service and bad partners. Avoid them. If you really like a house from them, then here are my tips: 1) take out legal expenses insurance, 2) take lots of photos/documentation of the condition of the house and your communication with them and 3) inspect the house very thoroughly upon check-in, and don't let them neglect to fill out the check-in report. We rented a house from them for almost 2 years in DH. Bad service from Woon Company: We were given incorrect information by the real estate agent about details of the property, which had consequences for the rent. Luckily we were able to reach an agreement with the landlords, and we both had to do it. But still, this is a stupid mistake. Bad partners Vellinga Vastgoed: Real estate management partner of Woon Company (they work in the same building and they work together, you see) pushes the boundaries of what is legal. Without a prior inspection, for example, they are not allowed to request labor costs for any repairs (which they did ask for). We discovered this after engaging an attorney. Another example: if a repair is needed, they incur the costs without providing a price quote and do not provide proof of purchase from when the furniture was purchased. The receipts are needed for depreciation and how much they are allowed to charge. Here's another example of how they try to rip people off. Upon check-out, the manager told me that he had to have a professional come to the house and place the photos in the correct places. I laughed and thought he was joking. He wasn’t. I rearranged the photos in less than 5 minutes. I am quite certain that they wanted to charge us €100-€150 for a professional to put the photos in the right place. I understand that we have to leave the house as we found it. But this shows very well that they are looking for an excuse not to return as much of the deposit as possible. Summary: bad service and bad partners. Avoid them.
