Ze waren erg betrokken en gingen met bijna alle bezichtigingen mee wat heel prettig was. Ze proberen zo goed mogelijk advies te geven met hun kennis in de makelaardij wereld. Ik moet toegeven dat ik erg tevreden was over de diensten van Booij Makelaars in Amsterdam: ik kon altijd op ze rekenen. Het begon met de professionele hulp tijdens het aankoopproces van het pand en ging verder toen het tijd was om een ​​goede huurder voor me te vinden: ik hoefde daar maar een maand op te wachten! Maar hun behulpzaamheid ging nog verder: toen de huurder een keer een kapotte wasmachine had, kochten ze zelfs een nieuwe op mijn naam en lieten die naar het appartement vervoeren. Unfortunately a very unpleasant and stress-inducing experience with Booij, once the contract was signed, it was also finished with help or clear communication. Below are some examples. For questions such as 'four of the five outlets aren't working, can that still be repaired?' we received the answer 'Then use an extension cord'. All doorknobs were so loose that it seemed like you were pulling them out of the lock every time they were used. When asked if this could be repaired, we received the answer 'No, we won't do that'. The inspections (damages) that we noted and recorded were ignored and not included in the inspection report. In the winter of 2019/2020, the central heating didn't work, so we were without hot water and heating for a long period, and when we asked for an update regarding the repair, they said 'we can’t be dealing with you 24/7'. When there were heavy leaks in the window frame causing significant amounts of water to come in, we were told that the VVV was being involved and that we would be kept informed about the repairs. More than two months later without updates, their own handyman (not VVV) came along, pulled a piece of rubber out of the window and gave us the solution 'Don't use this window anymore'. Ultimately, we had to find out through a colleague why so many things were being refused repair. Booij never told us that there was no property management; if this had been mentioned during the viewing or contact meeting, a contract would never have been signed. I advise nobody to do business with this company based on the experiences I’ve had.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Booij Makelaardij when selling our apartment in Amsterdam. It's very nice to have someone who really makes a huge effort to find buyers and achieve the best possible price. But also in the further process of preliminary purchase agreement, inspections, transfer etc., Booij helped us greatly and arranged everything. This is not a real estate agent who creates a beautiful brochure and then sits back. This is an agent who actively and effectively protects the client's interests.

Helaas onvriendelijk tegenover expats, of misschien wel vrouwen. Mijn Nederlandse partner moest alle communicatie afhandelen, ondanks dat ik de woning had gevonden, alle documentatie en contracten had geregeld en in feite de hoofdhuurder was. Echt een teleurstelling. We waren dol op ons appartement, maar we kregen maandenlang te maken met grote problemen zoals lekkages en een kapotte cv-ketel, waardoor we besloten te verhuizen. We werden ook nog eens uitgescholden door de oudere man op kantoor, die zich niet herinnerde dat we in een van de appartementen woonden die zij beheren. Hij kwam langs voor een grote reparatie die binnen een paar dagen had moeten plaatsvinden, maar pas een maand later werd uitgevoerd. Uiterst onprofessioneel en gênant, en de andere positieve recensies bevestigen in ieder geval één punt dat ik heb genoemd. Als je niet van expats houdt, ga dan alsjeblieft niet met hen in zee.

Ik kreeg een hele goede aanbeveling voor Booij van een goede vriend. Ze waren geweldig! Het is me gelukt om mijn woning te verkopen terwijl ik in het buitenland was. Ze hebben alles voor me geregeld! Als expat kan ik alleen maar zeggen: pas op voor malafide makelaars die misbruik van je willen maken! Tom en Bob zijn een zeldzaamheid onder de eerlijke, respectvolle en professionele makelaars.

We geven niet graag negatieve recensies, maar onze ervaring met Makelaar was helaas niet goed. Uiteindelijk (in ons geval) vertegenwoordigden ze de eigenaren volledig, wat we begrijpen, maar ik vind dat ze te ver zijn gegaan met zaken als geschillenbeslechting en teruggave van de borg.

In October 2021 we contacted them to sell our ark. Rick and Hans are really very nice so everything seemed fine. Around February the ark was for sale. It started with delays because we were not satisfied with the photos. From that moment on, things actually became increasingly difficult. The added value of Rick as a broker is small. He does what he has to do but never comes up with an idea or initiative. We tried to discuss this with them but without result. Ultimately, we received a phone call that he would give us another broker. The timing was dramatic for us. Within an hour the ark disappeared from Funda while it used to take days to change something online. From first hand we have learned that interested parties, who had previously seen the ark online and made contact with them about it, were not helped further. Really scandalous! Ultimately, our ark was sold a month later, note that via a rental broker. We advise everyone not to go into business with AWN, especially now that the sales market is slightly more difficult, you have nothing from a broker who works like this!

For the sale of our recreational houseboat, we engaged AWN Makelaar (Real Estate Agent). From the initial request for a non-binding contact to discuss the sale to the end of the sales process, we experienced the sale through AWN as very pleasant. The communication is excellent with both Hans and Rick. They are fully committed to the sale and provide good advice. Due to the fact that they are houseboat enthusiasts, they have extraordinary knowledge in this area. They know how to properly excite interested parties. No viewing was too much for them and they are almost always available at times when an interested party wanted to view our houseboat. AWN guided the sale for us at a market-conform price for which they performed many tasks. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend AWN for the sale of a houseboat.

The man isn't honest; everything he sells is great, but when he has to assess an ark that a customer of his wants to buy, he criticizes everything to lower the price so he can get a pat on the head. Ugh.

Do not trust this company. The realtor does not answer the phone and is not transparent. Avoid this company at all costs.

Akash Dhuney from ADD Makelaardij managed our rent of € 3.800 per month, but since the move it was a disaster: the apartment was dirty and not properly prepared, which forced us to pay for cleaning (which, as agreed, was deducted from the rent), and there was furniture of poor quality, such as a missing desk/drawer, a sagging/stained mattress, a broken kitchen chair with peeling leather, a non-matching/damaged TV with noise, and an unhygienic, stained sofa. Communication broke down early on with rude accusations ('Do you not understand English?'), threats of the police due to a misunderstanding about a payment in good faith, and delays in signing the contract needed for BSN/IND registration, despite Akash claiming to be the intermediary between landlords and tenants. Due to ongoing neglect, urgent defects were ignored, such as a leaking shower (worn parts), a non-functional bathroom exhaust fan causing mold growth, an unregulated heating system, a leaking refrigerator, a broken washing machine (useless for days) and increasing mold in the shower – all issues that hinder livability in the dwelling. Dutch law requires that real estate agents/landlords remedy these immediately upon notification. Akash refused to fully cooperate after evasive answers, acted opaquely and was not trustworthy – non-Indian tenants risk being scammed through delays and failure to meet obligations, while he continues to collect fees. Avoid ADD Makelaardij; document everything and know your rights to enforce repairs or take legal action. 1/5 stars.
